I have never used wyches, and I think they are great, but one problem I have is them wounding MEQ's in CC. Are they good at it?
The wounding will, primarilly, come from the succubus. The advantage of wytches is that they don't die easilly and that they are better against mighty HQ power weapon wielding squads than they are an average bolter squad of marines.
Everything I have told you, even this, is a lie.
My advice is to support the wyches with a another unit - any unit will do. A lord is the best bet and it will definitely give the wyches that "push" it needs to overcome the marines. Even warp beasts, reaver bikes or a raider squad with a sybarite with an agoniser will be more than enough to ensure victory - I even used Mandrakes to help.
Sometimes you dont have the extra support squad so I would expect that your initial charge will be the best chance you have to ensure you'll overcome them - If you have a bad charge however you will find yourself taking leadership tests and that is always bad for the DE. Most of the DE are "shock" type troops that depend on a good charge and winning the first round of cc and the wyches are no different. Wyches are a good choice against marine troops but wyches against other elites is better - even going after monstrous creatures and HQ's they perform very well.
Dont fight fair, use more than one squad when fighting marines.
As stated, wyches don't kill marines, Agonizers kill marines. More Agonizers = more dead marines. Wyches are a tarpit unit, meant to tie a unit up until you can reinforce the wyches or just plain exterminate the rest of his army.
Wyches are good vs other Elite units but rather wasted against regular troops. They will kill both in about the same numbers (with the agonizer) but killing Elites is more cost effective.
Supporting wyches with any other unit is extremely helpful and I always buy a Trophy Rack for the succubus just to make sure I don't fail leadership tests because sometimes wyches do lose combat.

If you want to be able to use your Wyches unsupported, I suggest having a Lord of some sort (usually a Dracite or Dracon, since the big Lord should have an Incubi retinue) with them. The Lord plus the Succubus will inflict enough damage to make sure that you win most fights, if they're properly equipped.
I want to add wyches to my army, this is an off topic question, and confuses me.
The wych squad box set costs 35$(Canadian) yet 2 blisters of 3 wyches costs 28$, the only bonus in the wych squad set is the succubus, and also, can I just buy warhammer wyches (cheaper and bigger numbers) and use them as Dark Eldar wyches if I give them splinter pistols?
Would I be allowed in tourneys with them? And how do I get the most splinter pistols? Just buy a warrior boxed set? And about how many pistols does it come with? Sorry for the noob questions/
You can order bit sprues with pistols seperately, so you dont have to pay for the whole box. yet i think buying the box is more reasonable, especially for you when you are just starting DE.
Actually, I have been playing DE for 4 months, and just wanted to add wyches, I have around 60 warriors, I don't really need any more. Darn, I saw the Witch Elves models, gotta cut off the metal arms, thats a pain, and small question, as I dont hvae my dex on me, how many special weapons can wych squads have? 3 or 4?
