hey guys ho'w it goin'. i had a question about the nobz in warbike squads. i'm trying to cut down my list and i just wanted to make sure it was okay for me to run the nob with no big shootas but still give them to the other bikers? it saves me points and allows me to use the nob's powerclaw in the first round. thanks in advance.
sorry to be the bearer or bad news but you cant cut the gunz on the nob bikes because gw didnt think to put it their same as the warboss.
i would definitley like to see that in the new codex. well, it's not like it was crucial.
the only place that you can remove the big shootas are the outriders squad from the speed freaks. by removing all your big shootas you gain the bonus of the scout rule which gets you REALLY close real fast. Picture moving 6 before the turn, then turbo boasting or even charging an inflitrating unit right off the bat with choppas

"...a swarm of mechanised locusts sweeping over the land, stripping it bare of resources, bringing death and destruction to anything that stands in its path. Emperor preserve us against the predations of these so-called Orkish cults of speed!" - Cardinal Nomura at the Conclave of Hessen
No if you want them off the nob you have to take them off the rest the Squadron to,
And yes it dose say "sluggas and assitional close" combat wepon meaning no choppas.
Also wuth the outriders you don't have to take off the big shootas to get the scout rule they have with or with-out them.
Fast is the only way to be.
