Since I might be getting a Carnifex-heavy nid army soon, I was wondering, what are the approximate dimensions of a 'fex? I want to know, because I want to proxy the army first, so I can see if its worth investing in. Im not too sure if this is legal or not (since we aren't allowed to give out templates for tanks and stuff). However, if it isn't allowed to say how tall it is, could I at least get the size of the base it stands on?
Edit - Wow, I cant believe I typo-ed "dimensions" in the title.
Ok, it stands on the largest base that GW produces, outside of forgeworld. That is the base that the greater daemons, sentinels, and dreadnaughts stand on, the large circle. They are slightly taller than a dreadnaught, and much beefier. I would guess about 3 inches tall, and about as wide, depending on what weapons you give them. So yeah, that's pretty much it. When I was proxying the same army, I got a bunch of little statuettes that I had laying around the house from random vacations, and taped them onto large bases - I had a bunny rabbit, a Frog, an MGM lion, and other such ridiculous things as carnifexes and tyrants. But yeah, it's a good thing to proxy.

Pssst.... give me kudos....
Thats the base I thought it was on, but its hard to tell in the pics in the codex, and just about any other place you find them. I will probably end up just using my SM dreaddies as proxies for them (tho i may need some more bases, since I'm gonna use 4 fexes and a tyrant, and I only have 2 dreadnaughts)
