Anyone use a seer council in 1000pts? I'm planning to buy some to use alongside 2 wraithlords. On paper they look like an awesome assualt unit that can pretty much handle anything in CC. But do you think it would be too pricey for such a low point level?
What's your definition of a seer council? A farseer and a unit of warlocks can come in at any from 150 to 500pts, so you may want to tell us exactly what you had in mind.
But in 1k a single unit is likely to enough. Without some more bodies/units on the game the enemy won't have to engage you to win the game (and while wraithlords are though, they're not that tough), they'll just focus on the mission.
Having an army and not owning a rulebook is like owning a car with no steering wheel.Originally Posted by amishcellphone
Just take a Farseer with Warlocks (5 to 9 probably best but lower for lower points games like yours) then a Wraithlord then buy your troops and see how it goes from there, you probably won't need two Wraithlords for such a small points amount.
