Welcome to Librarium Online!
I'm no stranger to WH40k or Nids, but I've just now got back into after a year or so of hiatus. >_>
This is a list of what I have so far:
18 x Termagants
8 x Hormagaunts
14 x Genestealers
3 x Warriors
3 x Rippers
1 x Carnifex
1 x Lictor
1 x Biovore
1 x Hive Tyrant
1 x Broodlord
1 x Zoanthrope
I'm probably gonna buy another battleforce and a box of gaunts, but I just wanted to see what everyone thinks I should get next.
The battle force looks like a good buy, I don't know if I would buy an additional box of guants, if you use 16 homies, 16 termies, and 8 scutling spine guants, you should have enough cover for your stealers. I think my first priority would be to get another lictor, I think you need to either use two or none of them. One buy himself just have the saying power to stand up to anything you are going to have him fight. One lictor doesn't even stand up to a broadside most of the time...You need that second rending hit.
If you're gonna use zoanthropes or biovores, you should get more of them, otherwise they're just taking up heavy choices that could have been used for fexes. An aditional lictor would be good too, since a lone lictor is more of a curiosity than an threat.
I see you dont have any fast attack choices, have you considered gargoyles? With a bit of conversion work, you can make them pretty cheaply from regular gaunts.
I think a brood of Raveners would be handy. You can use Genestealer claws to give them rending claws which is what Raveners work best with. A brood of six slithering up can cause a great deal of trouble for an enemy who underestimates them.
A brood of only one Ravener can be good too. It can get objectives and will also be a threat that needs killing but will require the full attention of a squad or independent character to get it killed, for one turn at least. The decent LD of the Raveners also means they can cope on it's own when they are out of synapse range.
The Ravener model is also very cool and it is worth having a few.
My vote Raveners for some killing power, gaunts for the endless tide of death and Zoanthropes to fill the synapse that your going to need, I'd also think about dropping the biovore he's not going to be of much use.
Legion Of Everblight: Abyslonia
Protectorate of Menoth: Grand Exemplar Kreoss
Yep, I second the Ravenor movement... I have only just started using them and they're awesome! Just tops, heaps of attacks and with rending, they're like an even faster genestealer... that isn't quite as good in combat...
But I call to God, and the LORD saves me.
