Sound like a bad idea? The reason I thought this was because I thought it would be fun to create a wraithlord using similar-themed weapons to that of a Wraithguard. At 30pts, the obvious weakness compared to most of the other standard choices is its range but the ideaís really grown on me and I canít wait to test the idea out. Any ideas as to why GW didnít want to do this with them?
I like the idea. Seems to me like the whole D-cannon/wraith cannon thing is really underplayed. Most other races have fusion weapons, plasma weapons, and laser weapons, the eldar just do them better. But the eldar are the only race to my knowledge that can manipulate the warp with a weapon. seems to me they would play that up a little more...

If everyone makes fun of West Virginia, who does West Virginia make fun of?
The D cannon used to be a legal weapon for Harlequin Wraithlord, I have a D-Cannon which is smaller than the traditional one, which I have often thought would be ideal, but I really have no idea where I got it
Everything you have been told is a lie!
Before they went to the 'over-sized' arty models, the old D-guns were another cannon on the platforms. It looked like a plasma gun, but with vanes.
I don't have my 2ed codex in front of me, but I think they legal for all "eldar dreadnaughts" (pre- wraithlord)

Cheers for your opinion. From the sounds of things, none of you would have a problem with ths in an unofficial match/tournament and luckily my friends thought it would fun to try to. Will teel you what results I get when I manage to get ahold of some old parts and play a game with them.
