What should I use for Warrior wings?

Some have told me just to use gargoyle wings, but I would much rather have plastic wings. What do you guys think I could use for it? Please give the actual name of what it's from, so I could look it up on the GW online store.

    Thanks!!!

Perhaps expensive, but here is an option from Forge World.

I don't really like how those look. Plus they are, as you said, a bit expensive. Any other ideas what I could use?

So far, I might just go with the gargoyle wings. They are only $2.50 a piece and I only need 8 right now. ($20 plus shipping) I don't really want metal, so someone please help me decide.

    A) what type of look do you want? do you want scaly, feathery, buggy?

have you gone to GW's website and just searched for "wings" you get a lot of hits of different types of wings.

Well I am looking for a similar look that I gave my winged tyrant. I used Plastic Dragon Wings for that. I have looked on the GW site, but I am not sure which would be the right size, since the site specifically says that not everything is to scale on there. I am also looking for something relatively cheap.

Like one thing I saw was "Night Lords Hero Wings." I like how it looks and it only costs $1, but I am unsure of the size...size does matter lol

Here's what I used for mine:

    http://www.wizards.com/default.asp?x=dnd/mg/20051103a

Third row down, "Dire Bat". Once you get them off the body, they're about 6.5 cm long. I haven't finished painting mine yet (they are on a loooong waiting list), but I'll post some pics when a few are done.

Oh, and they're on 40mm round bases... with a little texturing, you can even tell it's not GW :shifty:

I suck at molding even the easiest of things. Also, buying enough green stuff would be close to the same cost if not more...so it would be risky. So far gargoyle wings are in the lead lol.

Still, green stuff is slightly more expensive...I barely have the money as it is, so I might just go with the gargoyle wings. Plus, being as lazy as I am I was more looking for pre-existing wings to use. Are theyre any that are better than gargoyle wings?
