I'm starting up my Alaitoc eldar army again, but am wondering whether to paint my aspects craftworld specific or if fluff dictates that aspect shrines are consistent regardless of craftworld. I haven't really seen too many well painted aspects other than the standard codex ones. Would it be better from a fluff standpoint to keep them standard, keep some of the standard aspects mixed in with craftworld colors (ie keep banshee mask/armor bone colored, have rest blue/yellow), or completely craftworld colors?

I say lean heavily towards craftworld colours but still give them traits that keep in line with the aspect scheme.

i didnt really stick to craftworld colours for my aspects they are all different but not the same as what the usual model of that aspect would look like. for example my fire dragons are basically the same as they would be if u followed the colour scheme for them except i added a bit more gold to match my created craftworld colour scheme (shinning gold, skull white and hawk turquoise) but i gave them a kind of fire cammoflage effect using red gore, sunburst yellow and fiery orange nd it looks cool. my banshees are my fave though. they have the normal bleeched bone armour but iv added liche purple between the gaps to make it look bolder and basically anything that isnt bleeched bone is liche purple such as the robes nd top of the face mask. the eldar are the best army in terms of painting cus u can go nuts and do anything with them and 99% of the time they will look awesome

aspects technically have colours but not schemes, it is entirely ffluffy to work the colours into your codex scheme (eg paint their helmets and trim the aspect colours but the rest the craftworld scheme) but ultimatley you can paint them as you want, there are no rules there
Everything you have been told is a lie!
