Welcome to Librarium Online!
I wanted to know on how to use the Wraithguard effectively.
I already know the tactic of putting 5 Wraithguard into a Wave Serpent to zoom around the map and use their cannons to take out anything.
But how do you use them effectively when they dont have transport?
Or if you have a big sqaud of like 10?
What is a good Warlock power for them? Enhance or Conceal?
I can only think of the transport tactic for them, but I cant think of any other good tactics for them. Any suggestions, tips, or tactics?
When footslogging, take a squad of ten and a warlock with conceal. This is amazing at inspiring fear and anger in your opponenet, and is an amazing fire magnet. At about 350 points, it's an expensive fire magnet, though.
It will kill just about anything in its way. Just don't charge into CC too much.
From my experience with wraithguard I usualy play them by walking a 10 man squad + a warlock-spirtseer right up the feild. Plus with a 10 man squad and a spirtseer warlock you would get the choice to change them to troops.
For the warlock powers, it would have to depend on what the squad will be used for. If you want to throw them in the battle as meatshields (which I would not suggest unless followed by a wraithlord) then give them Enhance. Now if you want them to be for shooting then you would most likly want to give them Conceal or some cover so they can't get insti-killed by rending or AP 3 or less weapons.
If you do stick them in a wave serpent please give the waveserpent vectored engines.

I am not a fan of wraithguard, it seems as if they are very good at being hard hitting troops as well as acting as a good meatshield. For 350pts though, you could take a wraithlord and a squad of fire dragons. With these you have twice the versatility, more firepower, more combat ability (just) and the wraithlord is the best fire magnet we have.
My advice would be to not take the guard and spend the points on sumin else.
as per $ick, the others have given you the principle uses but in either case I dont consider them very efficient
Everything you have been told is a lie!
I just modified my army to take a core of 5 Wraithguards (+ Warlock/SpiritSeer, Conceal), 2 Wraithlords (both with BL and EML) and a Farseer (Fortune).
The Farseer joins the Wraithguards and Fortunes them (now : 3+ normal save and 5+ cover save, with re-rolls, on high toughness figs !) On the sides, or back, the two Wraithlords, firing away at enemy armour, or heavy infantry is nothing else... The whole is Fearless, and can move steadily towards the objective. Or you can stand back and shoot, depending on the enemy, scenario and terrain...
I admit it is of course an expensive combination, but it makes a good fearless and resilient core. Add some Harlequins right behind, to make a swift counter attack, and you have the basis of a balanced (but slow) army. Oooops, no troops, though ! Well, that's another story, isn't it ?
Waithguard are good for standing and shooting armies that dare the enemy to come closer. They are very easy to avoid and effectively canceling 350 points of your army. But they do go well with waithlords as the spiritseer can help the waith sight on the wraithlords.
