I need a effective 800 pt army to fight off blood angels, dark angels, guard, and t-nids. Also please list upgrades for them
This is what i have so far
3 crisis battle suits
2 squads of 9 firewarriors
2 squads of 10 firewarriors
3 squads of kroot (10 each)
2 devil fish
1 squad of drones

This list is illegal, you must have 1 XV8 Commander in your army. For the armies you're facing, I suggest Plasma/Cyclic Ion Blaster as it can pump out alot of shots and can deal with both hoardes, MEQ's, TEQ's and Monstrous Creatures effectively. Other good configurations are Plasma/Missile Pod (very versatile) and Plasma/Fusion (Good for hunting tough targets and vehicles). Keep the commander by himself to take advantage of the Independant Character rules.
Ethereals are bad news, especially against Tyranids and other fast close-combat armies. When it dies, your whole army runs off the board.
XV8's are good. Take 2 weapons, Targeting Arrays and Hard-wired Multi-Trackers. I suggest Fireknife configuration (Plasma/Missile Pod) or Deathrain configuration (Twin-Linked Missile Pod).
For Tyranids and IG, you might want to consider some Stealth Suits as they can pack a punch to hoards with poor saves.
Firewarriors work if you want to play a static list, but against Imperial Guard they will be badly outgunned and outranged. I prefer to put my FW's in Devilfish, but that's just me. Kroot are good, but I would take 1 or 2 units of 10 Kroot with 8 Kroot Hounds.
Pirahnas are expensive for a low points list and won't give you much firepower. I would drop them in this list. If you really want them, decide on their role. Do they hunt tanks and Monstrous Creatures? Then give them Fusion and Targeting Arrays. Do they support your other units for anti-infantry? Then give them burst cannons. But at 65 or 70 points a pop, they are not very efficient except maybe to hunt tanks, and not so much in 800 points.
You cannot take 2 devilfish as fast attack choices. Devilfish must be taken along with Troops and Pathfinders.
Pathfinders are good, but in 800 points they are very expensive as you have to take a transport with them, and that transport is basically useless unless you upgrade it to a Warfish (Smart Missile System, Targeting Array, Multi-Tracker, Decoy Launchers).
Drones are awesome. I would drop the Pathfinders and take more drones.
Broadsides are okay, but they're slow and they aren't good for anti-infantry as they do not have the submuntion option. You won't be facing many tanks in 800 points, and the versatility of the Hammerhead will help alot (choice of Anti-tank solid shot or Anti-Infantry submunition). I would take 1 or 2 HH's with Railguns and drop the Broadsides. And always always always put Multi-Trackers and Decoy Launchers on your HH's. Other upgrades are probably optional. Move them more than 6" every turn so they cannot recieve penetrating hits, and try to keep them behind cover.
Consider a Skyray if you drop the Pathfinders and take only 1 Hammerhead. It can support the rest of your army with its markerlights though in 800 points it's probably too expensive.

He wants us to make an armylist for him... (he is only looking for 800pts, and i don't think all that would fit in).

He already has a list, I know, i'm the one with nids/guard that he plays against regularly. I know this belongs in the army list section but oh well here it goes off the top of my head.
1 battlesuit which is HQ with flamer missle pods and plasma, all TL if I am not mistaken and shield generator. (I have been meaning to ask, why would you TL a flamer? how can you miss?)
Ethereal w/ honor blade and shield drone.
2 squads of kroot which like to infiltrate, also has sharper in each.
2 squads of firewarriors w/ markerlights and bonding knife.
Pathfinders w/ pulsecarbines and markerlight mounted in devilfish.
Broadside w/ railguns, smart missile systems and plasma.
Don't know all the upgrades, but off the top of my head this is what I know he has. He generally does good against the marines, its just my guard outshoot him, or my nids slaughter him in cc. Not going into what I put down, as it varies alot, but the DA player likes to use death/ravenwing strike, and the BA player...well does what BA players like to do, get into cc, especially with Tau.
Battlesuits, putting the BS in BullS*%t.
Your commander has WAY to many hardpoints used. He has 3. Weapons take 1, TL weapons take 2 and shield gen takes 1 as well.
Your fighting Nids/Imp/Marines. So on your comander try a Plasma Gun and Missile pod + Targeting array and HW Multi Tracker. Take the cheaper one as well. He will drop 1 or 2 marines per turn, well, 1 or 2 anything really.
Flamers are BAD! seriously, you want to get close?
Broadsides cant take both a SMS and Plasma. Take the SMS (its free)
