    Poll: Favorite Crisis Weapon Combination

There's a favorite weapon thread, how about a favorite combination thread?

I vote for Helios! Baharroth! You killed half my army by yourself. Die die die!!! (Fusion to the face goes splat!)

Also Fireknife and Deathrain. Those are the three I typically use.

You may vote for more than one. Please vote for all configs you typically use.

    Thanks!

    PR/MP is my favourite.

    PR/FB is useful.

TL MP is amazing and cheap for what it does.

TL MP's are so cheap and effective and so amazingly reliable, I have never missed with more than 1.
I totally say deathrains. They are a mobile 2 shot twin linked upgraded BS missile platform for not many points at all

Deathrains won me over in my game last night, and the Fireknives did so poorly (missed alot).

Come to think of it, I was slightly dissapointed in the Helios Commanders too - I sacrificed 24 Gun Drones for them and they barely did anything - The Deathrains, Hammerheads and Firewarriors almost won the game by themselves.

    See...

My Fireknives are my Commanders. They don't miss, and don't get up close where you need to sacrifice Drones.

    Deathrains are amazing.

And the FB/PR guys are usually reserved for Team Leaders who can take the TA upgrade.

Well, as can be expected I am a fan of the BIG 3 as I like to call em.

Deathrains, Helios and Fireknife. Though I didn't put TLMP down in the poll as well, I guess I just didn't see it

Anyway, I don't think it will be too hard to predict that MP/PR, FB/PR and TLMP will probably win out, and then there will be a few votes for the CIB/PR and maybe if darkreever votes we will get the CIB BC as well. But lets see shall we.

I started using twin link missle pod's about 3 games ago and I haven't looked back since. I reckon they cause more havoc than any other unit i feild. I usually run them in a squad of 2 but sometimes 3....although this makes a really big footprint and can be hard to hide, especially from upgraded eldar rangers who are in a building and get a 2+ cover save.

I also run a fireknife commander who usually get followed around by a unit of 3 fireknives. these are my MEQ termie killers and they usually do pretty good in conjunction with a ion or rail head while my xv88's keep things out of the open from fear of the twin linked railgun!

    I'm Back!

I voted Fireknife. I love Plasma Rifles (I missed the Favourite Weapons poll  poor me) so for me I was voting between PR/MP and PR/FB (sometimes I like PR/CIB on leaders and such but I've been shimmying away recently) and I think Helios is too close ranged/risky (obviously it's a great setup, this is just one disadvantage under Fireknife) and that they really have only two purposes while Fireknife is so multipurpose, and I've been palying my Tau friend a lot and I always get totally squashed by his Fireknifes (Fireknives?)

My other option was, as everyone seemed to point out, TL MP, but again, too single-purposed.
Back from the dead to haunt new houses.
Send me a hello if you remember me.

There once was a game in which I had 2 deathrains firing at a dreadnaught. In the first 2 turns, the death rains missed all of their shots. I was like "wtf!?!?!?!?" Then I hit with all four shots. I was thinking, "That dreadnaught is going down" but guess what? None of them got higher than a 4. This went on for the next 2 turns. On the last turn, I got a crew stunned but he had extra armor so it still could move a claim the objective.

That night I cried and wet the bed.

^true story. I left some details out of what happened that night because you guys would say omg.

Anyways, on to business. The PR/FB combo is the best because 3 marines a turn and the power to stop vehicles in their tracks is powerful.
