One of my Gun drones killed a librarian in CC last night. All by himself.
Now i'm inspired... i need more drones!!!
ya i've had a fire warroir kill a whole squad of guardsmen, but was posting a thread for this really nessecary?
( drones rule! )
"In the kingdom of the blind, the one eyed man is king"
"Pray to the emperor, but keep rowing to the shore!"
Probably not, no... but we can all post about the daring exploits of our shoddy CC troops in here!
Or a mod can delete it. Meh
welll if you want us to post our daring exploits then here is one that my friend did with his tau, Charged a unit of firewarriors into a cahos leutent and killed him.
My Shas'el commander (with no fancies like stim injectors, shield generator or VRT, mind you) was charged by the last 3 Striking Scorpions including the Exarch. This was because of a mistake on my part.
But two turns later, there stood my commander with one wound remaining and no Striking Scorpions to be found anywhere.

How do you guys get so lucky. Honestly, I have had whole squads of stealth suits disapear to blood claws, etc.
The best I can do is a broadside that only killed 2 out of the 3 charging bikers, 3 guy, with a powersword (broadside had no shield gen, drones, nothing) and the biker proceeded to do nothing to the broadside for the next 5 turns. The broadside even caused a wound.
It turned out to not effect the game whatsoever, but I was proud.

My commander usually finds himself in HTH (enemy jump troops find him a rather juicy target). So far the only time he's died in HTH was to a dreadnought (and it still took four assault phases). His list of defeated enemies: Kroot Master shaper, Blood Angels Chaplain, Space Wolf Wolf Priest, Necron Lord, and a variety of assorted ground pounders (he even dropped a dreadnought by charging the rear armor in the old assault rules). I dunno what to say, he just passes 4+ invul saves like you wouldn't believe (10 in a row against the blood angels chaplain).
Of course probably the funniest was a pair of gun drones detaching from a devilfish, charging chaos marines, winning combat (1 wound to 0), and running down the chaos marines (with mark of chaos undivided). Effectively two free models racked up 200+ victory points. Fear the free gun drones!
Blais's Paint Studio-Getting broken armies good soft scores since 2009
3 fire warriors held up 8 genstelers in HTH for 5 turns.... they lost, but sat there for ages...
My Shas'el winning CC against 5 harquelins... that was funny...
Since we're boasting :shifty: ill share my most inspiring moment (during a very bad battle on my behalf).
Last battle I fought was versus the Tyranids (last Thursday - local Warhammer club).
To give some insights ill explain how it went a bit.
Deployed okay or so I thought, his sneakyness helped him deploy better.
1st turn went well for me, killed a large chunk of his army with concentrated fire.
He approached with his Genestealers, Carnifex etc.
Completely forgot to take into account his deep striking units in turn 2 (several Lictors):hmm: - ah well, we all have some bad days I guess
His units deep struck, tied up my units, remaining horde assaulted my tied up Tau and if you know Tyranids....
In turn 4 I had only O'shovah left with 1 XV8.
XV8 got murdered, O'Shovah managed to stay alive until the end of the game (dice gods started to favour me when all i had left was 1 guy  )
Nice for my fluff journal... mighty Farsight resisting the remnants of a Hive fleet single handedly
God, I love that character.
O'Shovah player and loving it!
One of my firewarrior squads was charged by a tooled out master of sanctity. They Struck first (charging into cover) and killed him by inflicting about 7 wounds that he failed to save. Ouch... That's after he drop-podded a dreadnought into one of my hammerheads, failed to hit even once and then had it immobilized and weapon destroyed by 3 stealth suits so that it could do nothing for the rest of the game.
I'm trying to catalog every song with a reference to yetis or Sasquatch. Please help.
