Welcome to Librarium Online!
Hey Guys, I'm new here and I just wanted to know what color all the tau players are playing out there. I started painting the regular color but after my first regiment of fire warriors was done I decided this was boring. Both for personal humor and because it looked pretty cool I made my Tau McDonalds Colors. The armer was red gore, and the suit sunburst yellow. It looks pretty cool, and I pt a Mcdonalds logo on my Devil fish and two hammerheads. Anyways, post the color schemes you play, I'm the only tau player at the local store, I'm curious to see what everyone else does. I was thinking about changing over to pizza hut on my devilfish cause it is a delivery ship.
I paint mine Green and Silver, armor parts boltgun metal, Dark Angels green for the rest.
Khaki undersuit and a dirty blue for the armor. The source of inspiration being Jin Roh (as they are in the dark, in the daylight they look brown and dark brown/black); I think I got it pretty close.
My vehicles and battlesuits are still unpainted because they would be entirely blue and black with no tan/khaki and I haven't decided on a course of action for them. I'm thinking of just adding a sand-colored camo scheme but we'll see how it goes.
I did search, I must have mis spelled something
I use a regal blue as base colour highlighted by ultramarines blue. and scorpion green as the markings that he has on his legs and arms and so forth.
i use enchanted blue for the armor and khaki for the undersuit

I use mainly catachan green drybrushed with camo green, with white details and red lenses. [shameless self-promotion]If you want to see how it looks, don't hesitate to visit walruz.info.se [/shameless self-promotion]
Black undercoat, Shadow grey is drybrrushed onto it, similar to the color scheme in the codex, then I highlight with space wolves grey and any markings are scorpion green
