How come I dont see people maxing these guys out in army lists? In my experience they rule and not many people use even 10. I am using 30. What is to complain about a tougher then normal warrior, with 2 that can move and shoot its max range?
The cost! 50 quid for a full unit. i have 5, should get some more i know, but i dont play 40K enough so i cant be bothered. ideally i'd take 10 of them though.
however, the reason some people may not take them is because they are just a slightly better warrior, for another 10pts.
they still have the same weaknesses, e.g Phase out, and have the smae chance of failing any Ld tests, even though they have Ld10, some people may think that more warriors are better for the cost.

No more NG spearmen, thanks! Now I need some pump-wagons!
Additionally.. if you order them online/via mail order, order the parts separately, because they're cheaper separately.
Does it make any sense? If it's cheaper, what does it matter?
Nice link End, I have that bookmarked. Had no idea it was you.

i really only use immortals for voding, and then leaving. I'll find a nice piece of inaccessable piece of terrian, or at least hard to get to, drop em off, and let them have a nice cover save and just blast away at enemies near by. but for foot slogging unit, they just cost too much.
PM me about Aurora Prime Vassal fights! Willing and ready!
We are all necron players here. Everyone KNOWS what an Immortal is capable of. Additionally, read the entire thread, this isn't the first time I've edited someone's post on this very thread.
