All our opponents hate eldar and theres 1 real reason.
Opponents have fun when they're killing things, even if they're killing worthless guardsmen or gaunts they still feel as if they're winning.
Against the eldar they don't kill things as quickly as we hide behind terrain or holo-fields, this makes them think they're losing horribly even when they aren't.
So people get upset when all they see is something like a shaken result, they don't realise they're crippling your army but all they want are kills, regardless of whether they're killing a dirt cheap gaunt or <200 point falcon its still only seen as 1 casualty to many people.
To change this take some units that can go in the open like guardians, warp spiders or scorpions. Opponents start killing again and are happy.
Or you can point out that they still beat you...and what kind of damage they're actually doing.
So yes every eldar player gets crap like that, especially the mechanised ones. Tau get it too.

If anyone wants any kind of help writing fluff for any kind of GW army just ask.
A lot of players get set in their ways. Eldar armies usually challenge many of the 'orthodox' playing styles that assault or shooty armies fall into.
Some people, if they can't adapt, just label an army as cheesy. Much of the time they're just trying to cover for the weaknesses in their own army design or strategy.
Having an army and not owning a rulebook is like owning a car with no steering wheel.Originally Posted by amishcellphone

not at all, it generally is about the players not the armies, and that is the second time I havew had to edit your posts for the use of profanities, which tends to make me think I can gues what the grief is really about
Everything you have been told is a lie!
as a tau player i can deffinitly say that we get stick for this kinda thing too. the thing is both eldar and tau are both extremely good at what they do and if used in the right way tend to aggrevate the opposition though their utter lack of ability to reap kills back
go eldar (and tau) we rule
Dont Look Back... Something Might Be Gaining ;-)
