I have one carnifex, when I put it together I didn't want to limit myself with a particular configuration so I tricked it out with magnets so that I could reconfigure it to whatever upgrades I prefer. However, I think that eventually I will want to get a few more, but I don't know if I want to use magnets on all of them because it takes so damn long to set it up. Has anyone done three carnifexes with magnets? Is it feasible, because I think I might be better off just foregoing the magnets and just putting them together with glue
My fexes are just glued together, I thought about using magnets, but after having already my 2 fexes together I realized it would be a bad idea trying to take them apart. I'm figuring on a third fex carefully built and a unit of biovores possibly.

If you want more Carnifex's and you you know what you want them to have I suggest you just glue them. Magnets are best if you think you will always be wanting to change what weapons etc that the Carnifex's are using.
I don't magnetize my Carnifex's because I like them to look are certain way and I construct them with a particular theme in mind.
Basically if you think you will always be wanting to play around with the weapon combos of your Carnifex's then magnetize them. If you won't be doing that you can just glue them, especially if you plan on getting several.
Magnets sound like a good idea for a first fex, help ya figure out what configurations ya like.
But once you know what works best for ya, glue the others.

I'd say magnatize them. I am always tweaking my army lists, and so I like having a choice. Another quick and simple idea is to use sticky tac to try different combos until you find what you like.
I have two fexes now. I was going to magnetize them. Even went as far as to put some magnets on the spore cyst piece to see how those plates would work. But I got to thinking, the sniper-fex seems such a staple of a nid list that I might as well have them glued together. I figure by the time I buy my third fex I'll have proxied enough that I'll know what to configure that one for. My gaming community is really relaxed on WYSIWYG rules so proxying is the norm.
