    Eldar weeknesses?

ok, I've been playing eldar for about 8 years on and off, but not much with the new codex. I have run into a few eldar armies at tournaments and been slaughtered quite impressively. What are some general eldar weeknesses I can try to avoid when making up my new and improved eldar army (and exploit when facing opponents) I think specifically, how can I avoid being dealt ranged death, and how would I deal with a wily opponent when I've got my own dire avengers out there.

When life gives you lemons, beat it over the head and take its wallet.

How long is a piece of string?
every time you try and avoid a weakness you tend to introduce others, for example your Q about DA- put them in serpents, but all of a sudden you are burning points and get outnumbered

Perhaps the best way of dealing with this is put up a list in the army forum and we wil lkick it around for you
Everything you have been told is a lie!

As a wise signature once said:

Speed, price, quality - Pick any two.

Eldar will always be an army with high quality troops, low/average toughness and low numbers.

Having an army and not owning a rulebook is like owning a car with no steering wheel.

Their weaknesses, points cost, elite availibility,

Now the most Assaulty army in the GAME!! look at all those assault weapons, but there's always chances to biff rolls there's always chances to screw up an assault round...

They arent fearless and it doesn't take much to kill toughness three so they can run easily.
it pretty much comes down to points/save

Unless you play with an avatar. The eldar list is really quite flexible, so two eldar armies will play very differently.

Eldar weakness = T5 Marines (soon to get feel no pain). I know Eldar get doom but the extra toughness moderates this considderably. FNP can be countered with power weapons but poor banshees needing 6's to wound and this upsets them.
