Hey guys, well as the name suggests, I want to hear what armies you like to play against most often and why?
Mine would have to be Eldar. Why you ask? Well, I really enjoy playing the eldar purely for the variety of choice in what troops you play against. With all those different aspects, it makes for a very fun and interesting game, and allows you to play against a range of different types, close combat, ranged, bikes, grav tanks, monstrous creatures etc etc. I also enjoy playing Eldar so I can find out whos technology is good enough to win them the day
Space Wolves (Under Construction) | Circle of Orboros (Under Construction)
I enjoy playing Orks. Mostly because i like seing alot of dead enemie's. And also because of there range of toughness.
(Its fun to kill the Big ones)
I could say Orks because AP5 and Orks don't mix well; same for LotD or IG. I like to play against Black Templars because they are an awesome army, and if I win then I am very satisfied indeed. Ditto Necrons and Space Wolves/Khorne.
My real enjoyment though comes from being up against a truly good opponent who knows his own army's capabilities and tricks inside out, which forces me to think better tactically and strategically, rather than just opening fire and walloping him from range. I have a good number of friends like this, which makes for very interesting games indeed! Armies-wise therefore I don't really have a particular favourite because, as I said, what I prefer is the challenge that the *General* provides with whatever army he uses.
Win or lose, it's fun.

talking just armies, it IG. nothing is more intimidating (besides a horde nid army, but havnt faced it yet) then seeing all this etroops line up from you, and then all those hevay tanks and bassies. then they start dropping like flies, and it gets fun to see how many shots i can get off with my crisis suits without being touched. got fun and good laughs.
but defiately a good comander with any army is fun to play against, played football and wrestling for four years and beating a tough opponent really makes my day.
Never give up. Never give up. HIT, HIT, HIT, HIT!
I'd have to say Eldar or IG, or Mech Tau.
Eldar-No powerfisting badness. Against their troops, my Kroot/Ninj'O can get A LOT use, and without cover saves, they quickly become squishy. Not to mention most people take Pathfinders and the few units that can be fired are skimmers Don't particularly like their skimmers though.
IG-Fewer Powerfists/Weapons, and lots of GEqs means again that my Kroot and Ninj'O are going to be doing a lot of damage. Here, I think it's easier to massacre the squads rather than whittle them down(4+ cover saves hurt you know). And then you can consolidate into another squad and another and another.
Mech Tau-I play Hybrid, with all of my HS slots either Broadsides or Sniper Teams, so I can do some serious damage. Just keep the Broadsides out of LoS and move them out as soon as a Hammerhead or Devilfish peeks out.
My favorite oponent thus far in the game. Witch Hunters. They are the only army that has made it a struggle. Either my opponent destroyes me (first time I played against drop troop IG, or first time I played an Eldar player with 3 fire prisms, a tooled up wave serpent with howling banshees, some guardians, and some warp spiders for example) or I destroy my opponent (everytime else). Witch Hunters are very interesting and make for an interesting game. I love fighting them.

Yup i must agree that the local WHitch Hunter player and em always have good games. As of now the record is 2-2. The same player with his IG has the same record of 2-2. So all our matches are close.

I really love playing all armies but I hate more than anything Necrons. I don't think I have ever won a game against them with a lot of comfort.
I've generally enjoyed fighting Tyranids the most, as it's one of the few armies against which I could keep my Devilfish alive. It was always fun to see if I could kill off all their synapse before CC took out everything.
Guard is a great matchup, too. Tau and Guard seem able to counter each other's strengths.
