      I took this when I was testing out my photography equipment, and remembered I just finished my new Chaos Lord

      He's my nod to Darth Sidious/Emperor Palpatine from Star Wars, with Lightning Claws and the Night Lords lightning scheme to boot.

      Really fine job on the metallics. I would suggest, if I may, that you add a little more detail to the black portions of the model, in particular, the hood.

      For the metallic black portions, you could always shade with gray, or simply mix together a silver and black wash, going heavy on the black (4/1 black/silver). This will add ever so slightly a metallic look, which will compliment the trim.

      Wow, comments...neat! Being a noob, I didn't know LO had a CMON system here.

      I tend to be scared of highlight blacks too much, as I've turned decently highlighted blacks looking gray. I'll try to overcome that fear. The metallic black idea sounds interesting, I'll try it on my next Chaos troops.

      I must agree with Rabbit. The black areas are a little bland. Other than that a superb detail job. I admire clean painters and this is a clean model! Keep up the good work.

      I collect black legion and to highlight the armor i use a mix of black ink and bestial brown. I then wash this into the recesses of the armor which gives a dirty, muddy look if u like that sort of thing.

      maybe u should paint the hood in a typical dark blue colour so as to make it seem a little less dull, otherwise good

      what bit is the three spikes and skull chains on his back? i want to get a bunch for my ogres but i cant find anywhere.

      also, really nice paint job. the hood could use some very subtle highlights but the rest of the model is fantastic. and conceptually, i love it! HOODS how come i never thought of hoods!!!
