Not sure on how familiar you are with Tau, but am getting alot of suits in a trade and was wondering whatcha think of this list? hammerheads chill behind the aegis for 2+ cover(Disruption pods give Shrouded if the enemy unit shooting at the vehicle is more than 12″ away). Suits go vehicle/infantry hunting(the commander joins the Plasma/Fusion squad). The sergeant on the fire warrior squad mans the Quad gun and can shoot at a seperate target than his squad. Each Broadside can shoot at seperate targets if need be. I think that’s the last of the armies funny tricks… O and all suits ignore Nightfight(Hard Wired Blacksun Filter). I place Ethereal as far up and on his own as possible, hopefully he gets killed and gives my whole army Preferred Enemy Shas’O: Shield Generator, TL Missile Pod, HW Target Lock, Drone Controller, 2 Shield Drones(148) Ethereal (50) Crisis Suit Team: 3 Suits, Plasma Rifle/Fusion Blaster, HW Target Lock, 2 w/ Targetting Array, Team Leader with Shield Generator, Iridium Armor,Stimulant Injector(257) Crisis Suit Team: Missile Pod, Burst Cannon, MultiTracker, Team Leader with 2 Gun Drones (175) Crisis Suit Team: Missile Pod, Burst Cannon, MultiTracker, Team Leader with 2 Gun Drones (175) Crisis Suit Team: Plasma Rifle, Flamer, Targetting Array, Team Leader w/ 2 Shield Drones, HW MultiTracker and Bonding Knife (219) 12 Fire Warriors: Team Leader with HW Target Lock(125) 3×6 Fire Warriors:(180) Hammerhead: Railgun, Burst Cannons, Targeting Array, Disruption Pods(155) Hammerhead: Railgun, Burst Cannons, Targeting Array, Disruption Pods(155) 3 Broadside: Team Leader with HW Target Lock, 2 Shield Drones(265) Aegis Line: Quad Gun(100) 2001 Hey James, Tau isn’t my bag I am afriad. I’ve played against Tau quite a lot, so know some units, but I don’t know tactics etc with them, so only can give advice on builds I have seen effective. I am pretty sure some of the Tau readers will be more helpful than I.

E-Mail: Tau army list 1,750

I’m struggling to run a decent Tau list at 1750, whether that’s just me or my codex I don’t know but here’s a list of what I have to work with:

Studio Project: Tau Empire

Studio Project: Tau Empire

Copyright Michael Tang & Jia Cheng Wu – 2005 Work has begun on the 1st official Primarch Studio army! Our diligent crew is hard at work putting together three XV-9 Crisis Suits from Forge World and then moving onto a Tau Battleforce box set + 3 XV-8 Crisis Suits. The army will initially start out at 1500 points and then will be brought into the 2000-3000 point range, depending on the actual army playlist. Because I am an enormous Gundam anime fan, the entire army will be themed from the various Gundam anime series. I know others have attempted this before, however I know that Primarch Studio will be taking it to the next level! I will be putting up some WIP pics in the next few days of the XV-9 suits, followed by several graphics of which Gundams they are intended to be paint-matched to. Primarch is very excited about the army and hopes that you will be too! Contact us today if you are interested in receiving a quote for your next, or current, army to be painted by our skilled professionals. Army Philosophy The idea behind building a specific Primarch Studio army is three-fold: Show off the extraordinary skills of the Primarch Studio painters and assemblers to a larger public audience (both locally and through Internet forums). Have a finished army ready to be entered in local tournaments and paint competitions. Tau + Gundam = pure awesome! In all seriousness though, it is our desire to have a fully painted, high-quality army that we can tout around with us when we go to local gaming shops, attend tournaments and enter paint competitions with. The nature of the business results in most of our work leaving our studio, rarely to be seen again.
