    End Times, new units question.

    Good evening.

As far as the "End Times" books go, can the new units be used in their respective army lists, or must you play the book's campaign in order to use them?

    Thanks in advance.

all the units I've seen the rules for, can be played in a non end times list. Like the blight knights are allowed to be played in a woc list

Officially, they are legal in their owning army, although I'm fairly certain that their unit entries do say something regarding which armies they can be used in.
It's a similar situation to the White-Dwarf release of "Skull Crushers" - they weren't in the book, but players were expected to "add them in" as an official option.

Unofficially, you might find yourself having trouble convincing someone to play against you if you're throwing around stuff like Nagash in a game that is not explicitly 'End Times'. This is more of the "friendly vs. 'competitive'" argument, although some people do feel that some of the characters are a touch off-kilter. Most 'comp systems' are even allowing them though, so it's mostly a dead argument all around.
