True so what your saying is if we roll in with 18 knights we could break anyone on turn one charge due to ranks yes?
In general I believe units of Bretonnian knights should either be:
1. As large as possible, relying on the charge to deal damage and exploiting their depth to finish the combat immediately though breaking steadfast (units of 15 core knights with 3 characters).
2. Optimal size for combo charges to give you combat resolution (units of 5 knights, small units of pagasus knights).
3. As small as possible to be used to aid in the rest of the armies maneuvering (ie - mounted yeomen, pegasus knights).
Ok i see yeah i like the idea of charging and breaking on turn one like knights should
