Help Me Build High Elf Army List

    Hi all

I'm new to Fantasy, and have purchased a very cheap giant lot of High Elves. I need the help of experienced players like you to help me forge it into an effective army. I've taken a couple tries in my previous 3 posts, but thought I'd give you free reign. I have included a list of all the models I have. How would you use these to build some 2000, 2500, and 3000 point competitive armies?

Are you willing to play smaller games while you learn the rules? If so, then about 1000 pts should be good. You do however have the models for a giant army.
    Are they all built?
Upon wings of iron they fall upon the foe

    Hi there welcome.

I agree with lucas play some smaller games to get the hang of it. I assume you have the books.

As previously stated white lions are your go to guys to win most fights most people field them in wide but not deep formations I normally go 2 lots of 24 at 2000pts and 2 lots of 28 at 2500pts. Swords masters use to be amazing when they got to keep there re rolls but sadly they lost that and very rarely get used now but are good at blending light to mid range infantry.

I would play a few 1000pts games with 2 units of 18 white lions with standard (6x3) 24 spears standard champ (5x5 Noble in unit) Nobel bsb Shield of the merwyrm, heavy armour (upgrade to dragon armour if there is enough points) sword of might and a level 2 mage. This should finish just under 1000pts but gives you a good list to practice with.

I guess the question you need to answer is what do you want from the list? what direction are you drawn towards High elves are power houses in cc and you should think about using that. People talk about balanced lists bight elves really do need to be focused.
