    Where to buy thick cardboard/cardstock?

I am starting to make some bunkers and various buildings out of card, but I don't know where to find something like 1mm thick cardboard/cardstock. I know this is a standard size used by modelers and it is usually referenced as "easy to find" by the modeling articles but I don't know where to pick it up at or even what it is called. I tried searching on google but I don't find much.

Where do you guys source your ~1mm card from?

I have a staples near by but I couldn't find anything on their site.

Well, I would check Staples or other office supply stores. They tend to sell it in bulk, like paper.

You could try going to a supermarket and ask to speak to a manager, and ask them if they would be willing to give you any of their cardboard waste that is recycled. I work at Tesco and there is absolutely loads of it, absolutely everything comes in a corrugated cardboard box there.

    Good luck with your search!

Yes, I have plenty of corrugated cardboard boxes at my disposal but sheets of 1-1.5mm cardboard non-corrugated has been hard to source. Thanks for the help.

I went by Hobby Lobby and figured out what to use. I bought something called mat board. I also purchased some thin foam board as it looked easy to use as well.

    Hope that helps someone else.
