I know this may sound a bit much but I would like to explain why I believe in this idea. The first reason is the dragon would be there to protect your Archmage so you do not have to worry about half your army exploding and you can go close to the enemy without dying and blow them up yes you lose...
Heya fellow librariums and other dudes ;)
It has crossed my mind to try to make a heavy-on-range-dependant DE army, and this came out of it:
Master, hydra blade (+D3 attacks), blood armor (6+, then 5+ save etc),dark steed (142)
49 RxC 490
21 dew + standerd + musician 135
I think this is an exiting army against an Wood Elf army! Any thoughts?
Seerstaff of Saphery
Lore of Life; 2, 4
Mage on Elven Steed
Staff of Sorcery / Annulian Crystal
Talisman of Protection
High Magic; 4, 5
Mage on Elven Steed
I picked up HE again, let me know what you think:
Noble (in the unit of spearmen) + spear + longbow + light armour + shield + BSB
Repeater Bolt Thrower
Repeater Bolt thrower
19 Spearmen + full command
15 Swordmasters + full...
This is my first ever army list (for high elves anyway). Comments and feedback welcome.
High Elves - 1250
Caradryan - 175
Nobel w/ Lance, Barded Steed, Armour of Caledor, Guardian Pheonix - 155
Archers x10 w/ - 110
Spearmen x20 w/ Full Com, Warbanner - 225
Ok so. I'n very new to WE and made this list. Wondered what you think? I believe it's reasonable from the other lists I've seen... possible less Dryads is the only thing I might change..
So here it is:-
Highborn - 568
The Fimbulwinter Shard
Hail of Doom arrow
Ive gotten into fantasy recently, a friend has been encouranging me to start for a few months, so i bought some cold ones recently. Ive drafted a list which includes a war hydra but i dont like the model. Does anyone have any ideas for something else i can use as a hydra, or a mixture of models...
I am thinking of switching over to Dark Elves and I came up with this army list as an initial fun and friendly army. I am also hoping that it will be versatile, but competitive. I had these goals:
1) I did NOT want to take advantage of the range combat provided by dark elves because I did not...
Hey guys I just started woodelves today actually, and I sat down with my army book (incredibly well written imo) and plotted out a 2000 point list that I think would be quite fun to model/paint and play with as it seems quite competative.
