I'm just getting back into the hobby after a few years hiatus ( I know what you're thinking, run you fool, you were free! ) and my local GW store is running a tournament / campaign that I'd like to get involved in. Helpfully, the manager is restricting all the lists to the original force organisation chart - so no formations ( although allies are allowed, or at least he is letting me run Cult Mechanicus and Skitarii ). As a returning gamer, this is probably a nice way to ease back into it.

I'd really like to get some thoughts and opinions on the following list. I've highlighted in bold the models I currently own.

CAD Cult Mechanicus - 730 points

HQ

• Tech Priest Dominus, Anzion's Pseudogenetor, Conversion Field - 125 points

Troops

• 3 x Kataphron Breachers ( Arc Claw & Heavy Arc Rifle ) - 150 points
• 3 x Kataphron Destroyers ( Phosphor Blaster & Heavy Grav-Cannon ) - 165 points

Heavy Support

• Kastelan Robot Maniple ( 2 robots, 1 datasmith, default loadout ) - 290 points

Skitarii Maniple - 770 points

Troops

• 10 x Skitarii Vanguard with omnispex - 110 points
• 10 x Skitarii Vanguard with omnispex - 110 points

Elites

• 5 x Sicarian Infiltrators ( flechette blasters and taser goads ) - 185 points

Heavy Support

• 1 x Dunecrawler ( AA loadout ) - 125 points
• 2 x Dunecrawler ( neutron laser & heavy stubber, extra heavy stubber ) - 240 points ( I have own one of these two )

For a total of dead on 1,500.
