Ah, the old chompy -vs- shooty debate. I like this one.
Overall, your build has pretty good vehicle killers, but you're lacking in ways to manage the swarm at range. Also, you desperately need more troops. Remember, E.C. is a fragile, very time-sensitive army that requires good deployement and even better strategy. You really need a minimum of 3 marine squads (4 would not hurt).
Drop mutation. This guy will already tear through virtually everything in c.c. as he is.
Drop the daemon weapon in favor of combat drugs. These drugs have an amazing amount of utility and will provide additional attack from mutation and the strength bonus (in part) from the darkblade.
troops: You need either a heavy or special weapon configuration with this squad. It really helps to give you outs whenever you need that one big shot. I would suggest a blastmaster, because it function both as an anti-troop and anti-vehicle weapon. If you face alot of vehicles then a melta gun or 2 will be much improved.
rhino: For 6 men, you're paying a costly price for their movement abilities- that's 50+ points. Give them infiltrate and save points.

In a 1000 point build, you have a few too many points in this models. I mean, he's legal, but you should consider dropping him down to less than 160 (really less than 125) in order to allow more points distribution to the rest of your army.monsieurcartier said:

Drop d. aura. Your lt already has the wounds from the bike squad. Honestly, your bike squad is very offensive as it is. The lt becomes overkill, and the points could be used to support other areas of your build.monsieurcartier said:

E.C. bikes work best with ranged utility. Give them sonic blasters, but consider retaining the melta gun for tank popping.monsieurcartier said:
Your weapon configurations are ok. This tank really needs some kind of defense upgrade. Daemonic possession really pays for itself and will give your enemy a headache.monsieurcartier said:
