Hey.

I'm new to Warhammer, and found Dark Elves kinda interesting,
but before I start to buy alot of boxes, I would love some comments on my armylist!

So this is what I came up with:

Heroes:

Dark Elf Noble
Heavy Armour
Sea Dragon Cloak
Shield
Blade of Ruin
Mounted on Cold One
=158 pts

Sorceress
Level 2
Seal of Ghrond
=155 pts

Core Units:

Dark Elves Warriors x 20
Shield
Musician
Standard Bearer
Lordling
=185 pts

Dark Elves Warriors x 10
Repeater Crossbow
=110 pts

Special Units:

Witch Elves of Khaine x 12
Musician
Standard Bearer
Hag
Witchbrew
=191 pts

Cold One Knights x 5
Musician
Standard Bearer
=172 pts

Total army cost 971.

The Noble will ride with my Cold Ones, so they are six in total.

What do you guys think?

Make sure that he goes against heavily armoured foes such as knights. He'll also do veyr well in challenges.

Sorceress
Level 2
Seal of Ghrond
=155 pts

A nice setup but the darkstar cloak would add more punch to the offensive nature of dark magic.

Core Units:

Dark Elves Warriors x 20
Shield
Musician
Standard Bearer
Lordling
=185 pts

I like corsairs better but these make good core troops too.

Dark Elves Warriors x 10
Repeater Crossbow
=110 pts

Maybe swap this for a RBT bbut it's your choice.

Special Units:

Witch Elves of Khaine x 12
Musician
Standard Bearer
Hag
Witchbrew
=191 pts

A bit fragile but still nice.

Cold One Knights x 5
Musician
Standard Bearer
=172 pts

Yay!

Total army cost 971.

The Noble will ride with my Cold Ones, so they are six in total.

I like it. I have comments on individual units above and some suggestions.

Bolt throwers are nice but with the choices above I think you should be ok without the.

There's nothing wrong with the list at all and I think that it'll do rather well.

Thanks alot for your comments.

Hmm, I guess I will use either Darkstar Cloak or Seal of Ghrond depending on my enemy.

And I'we looked into corsairs acctually, but I had allready bought a box of Spearmen and wanted to get started, so thats why I picked those and the crossbow men, but a Repeater Crossbow is tempting, allthrough I also want something allitle different. xD

But I will defenetly take your suggestions, and I'll se what I can do!

Thanks again! : D

There's absolutely nothing wrong with the list and I just checked some requirements. You must field two core units at 1k so that's the RBT out of the window! :p

Nice solid list all round. Let us know how you get on!
