2x5 IST 2 mg rhino extra armor

2 LC ML Dreads extra armor
LR extra armour

The plan is for the inquistor to sit back with the dreads and LR to prevent DS and Pyshic powers. Gk go in the LR and move up if neccessary. IST are for despreate anti tank or objective holding.

In that case you'd have to drop the assassin as well as you need an Inquisitor in the list to take one. The DH codex is restrictive like that. I'd say take some time to read through the codex again and see what angle you'd like to take.

I used to play DH alot but havent in a while mainly im trying to find alist with as much anti tank as i can for 1250 cause the tourny will have guard eldar de and nids. I know the calidus has to go thats fine, but what would u suggest list wise for a tourny dosen't matter what models ill need just would like a list that may have a shot. Thanks

Jy2 and No6 (I think) have some great pure DH lists out there. Off the top of my head I can think of:

HQ
  • Brother Captain - xx
    • x4 Terminator Retinue - Incinerator, x1 SS/TH - 199

Troops

  • x5 IST - x2 Meltagun, Rhino w/ EA and Smoke - 128
  • x5 IST - x2 Meltagun, Rhino w/ EA and Smoke - 128
  • x5 IST - x2 Meltagun, Rhino w/ EA and Smoke - 128
  • x5 PAGK - x2 Psycannons - 200

Heavy Support

  • Landraider - Smoke, Extra Armor - 258
  • Dreadnought - TL-Lascannon, Missile Launcher, Smoke, EA- 148

Total: 1250

Very mobile with the mini-purgation squad to hold the home objective. Landraider and Dread can engage at range while the ISTs get close. Depending on what you like you could also switch one squad for plasma guns instead of melta. Termies can jump out of the raider and maul just about anything they need to.

For something that I favor a little more:

HQ

Heavy Support

  • Landraider - Extra Armor, Smoke - 258

All of the IG Chimeras go to the ISTs and Inquisitor


Of course both the above lists are just things I pulled up out of nowhere. For a local tourny you will want to change some things around.
