If you are going to have a pirate theme, you could add some slayer pirates:w00t: They look pretty cool and will pump up the Pirate theme

Alright, this is the 1500 point version of my 500 point army that is currently being built. The basic theme is Pirates, so I'm keeping it piratey...if that's a word.

I am also considering switching the Ironbreakers to 15 Slayers. I like both options there, so I'll probably play test it some to see how each works out. I'm not sure if the Ogres are legal, but since the Longsword is one handed, I think it can go with the pistol. Those are pretty much there for flavor and to give me a little bit of speed. They seem more fitting to my theme than a Gyrocopter, and I like the conversion possibilities there.

I'm just not sure about how MSU tactics will work with dwarves. The usits are a tad small to resist a hard charge, so you will have to be on the offensive, and manuver with great skill, because dwarven manuverability will be a huge liability.
Where are the slayer pirates? they are the most piraty unit in the game!
Iron breakers do not fit in with a sea themed army, they'll rust away thier 2+ save ^_^
Some quarellers would be a nice addition instead of the thunderers, can't rely on gun powder in wet and humide warfair.
You cannot have the same rune combination of your cannons. This is the rule of pride.
They also would benefit from a rune of forging instead of the rune of reloading really.
