Thought I'd post my Biel-Tan list here to see what people have to say about it. So far it's been working....(Beaten IG, Space Wolf, Dark Angels, 'Nilla Eldar, Ultramarines, Daemonhunters, and Orks. List has changed but the Eldar are 7-0 in 1v1 games). List:

~ This is Mostly for Friendly Games but When I play Tourneys it Will Be Shaved Down To 1500 Or Less ~

Avatar - 80 (why? I converted his base and he's one of my best painted models)

Farseer - 81
inc. Witchblade, fortune, pistol, RoWitnessing
Warlock - 37
inc. embolden, witchblade, pistol
Warlock - 42
inc. enhance, witchblade, pistol
Warlock /w witchblade and pistol - 27
Warlock /w witchblade and pistol - 27
Warlock /w witchblade and pistol - 27

9x Banshees - 165
inc. Exarch, executioner
Wave Serpeant /w T-L Starcannons and Spirit Stones - 135

10x Striking Scorpions - 237
inc. Exarch, scorp claw, stealth, 'nades

5x Fire Dragons - 114
inc. Exarch, firepike

5x Dark Reapers - 213
inc. Exarch, crackshot

Wraithlod /w Starcannon - 120

Falcon - 210
inc. Starcannon, spirit stones, holo-field, shuri-cannon upgrade

total = 1515
models = 36 (37 /w Wraithlord)
tanks = 2

~ Now the only change I've though of is dropping the Avatar, 1x Reaper, and Stealth for a Wave Serpeant /w T-L BL and spirit stones and that would bring me to 1513 I belive, so what do you think overall?

i play a list that is similar although i try for more speed than this - everything is mounted, has jump packs or can infiltrate (apart from a sole avatar which does nothing but makes the cut because i love the model). I did find that dragons in a serpent work better than in a falcon as you can get more of them in and you dont need to get your firepower falcon too close. Also were you not even slightly tempeted by spiders? mine got such a reputation that many people i played against would throw everything inc the kitchen sink at them which is useful in its own way. how are the reapers working for you? i keep considering taking them but im scared of the whole 37pt t3 4+sv thing. dont yours get more heavy bolter than is healthy?

I love my Reapers, similar to your Warp Spiders they have earned a reputation at my local gaming store and they should be rightfully feared (str-5 ap-3 = AWESOMENESS!!). No, I've never even tried Warp spiders, I've considered them but I just don't really like the no AP, str-6 is nice though and then I'm also worried, what if someone catches me in combat? They're probably gonna die then, if you wouldn't mind, How do you use them and what have you killed with them? (I'd like input if i'm to consider them)

well if you are scared of combat you can always take an exarch with withdraw. however if you are careful you shouldnt need to (i never use one). iv found spiders to be amazing against every army with the possible exception of nids whose hormagaunts, raveners and lictors limits the spiders options. i take two squads of five spiders in my biel tan and against space marines, SOBs et al i can expect to kill 3 a turn with each unit. not amazing but then you shoot next turn, and the one after and it all adds up. 3+sv and the second jump makes it difficult for the opponent to hit back against them while if i am lucky they will move their troops out of position to try and catch the aspects. spiders will not win the battle for you but they will help much. as for what they have killed i think in my last battle against necrons they took out 3 wraiths, a whole unit of 6 immortals (that was in one turn, with the shooting of the 2 units combined) a tomb spider, a lord (very funny....) and about 10 warriors (but they did get WBB). that wasnt even with too extreme dice rolls. not bad for ten models!
going back to your reapers, do you use the concealment rules? i find it difficult to under stand how they could survive otherwise (at my store we hardly ever use it)

I mean for the reapers just putting them in....a ruined building (4+ cover), a bunker (3+ cover), crater (4+ cover), etc. If my oppont gets first turn though they usually target the Reapers directly after or sometimes before my tanks, and since many people complain about our tanks, I take it as a compliment to the Reapers :yes:

Hmm i do have fond memories of guided reapers shooting at smurfs.... Youve just given me insentive to try them again.....
going back to your army list dont you find tanks a problem. true your dragons and ''mini seer council'' give you some options but even a single bright lance is a solid investment. you have a reasonable number of starcannons already (not to mention the reapers) so you should be able to afford to lose one in exchange for a lance. i would recomend a twin linked one on a wave serpent as these always do well. also having a vyper would prove useful in any objective based game as biel tan troops are often too concerned with killing stuff to worry object claiming table quarters etc. i normally take either a vpyer with starcannon or duel shurcannons for this purpose.
whatever you do keep stealth on the scorpions. they are a massive disraction to your opponant. often they will result to massive overkill to take them out. and if they dont they will not forget the mess the scorpions make of their troops in a hurry...

Honestly, no usually tank popping it quite simple for me because when I do go against someone with tanks, I'll put a Bright Lance on the wraithlord and if that fails my fire Dragons have always pulled through and have (now) taken down a total of 5 Land Raiders (including crusaders)

fair enough. hehe, i love dragons. it seems that most people use them for meq or termie hunting but my always seem to do better against tanks. although it may be because they seem to refuse to hit when i fire them at infantry... once i shot at a unit of plague marines with 8 fire dragons and 5 guardians with no platform. the dragons only killed 1! Although the guardians cheered me up when they took down 4!

I stealth my scorps as close as possible in cover near big tanks. their haywire nades usually knock the crap out of anything. I have yet to not take out 1 tank a game with them.

Fire Drags + TL BL serpent= anti tank goodness. However, don't over dedicate them. shoot them at the juiciest target available, each and every turn. if nothing good nearby, put em in the serpent and fly away.

I never take spiders. never have. never will. however i have always loved my reapers. Like someone else said, stick em in a bunker, building, gun pit. I usually use a gun pit as they are easier to work with. and no

hmm i never liked tank buster scorpions. its always seemed such a waste to have them blowing themselves up withy exploding tanks when they could be in the thick of the action chopping of heads. then again as far as i remember i only have used them for that purpose in one game so i have no experience. another unit to try out perhaps. and i really would try the spiders. they are too deadly to leave at home, not to mention that their second jump give some potentially amusing randomness.
