Chariot of Nurgle- Extra Daemon beast of Nurgle 180pts
I absolutely love Nurgle :x (And Nurgle loves me.) so I have decided to get a daemonic legions army.
This is my first list for the army. A prefer to have large units for my basic core unit, with two units of 15 plaugebearers, including the champions and musicians, I have good central units for my army to work around. The Nurglings will prevent flank charges whilst the plaugeriders and chariot of Nurgle will work in concert to smash enemy units. Please give any comments on how I can improve this army.
If you like big units, then you shouldn't use small ones like these.
The general is way overloaded, so you shuold downgrade him, maybe to a herald, and buy
more troops. Daemons, since they cause fear, are best when they outnumber.
And yet your army is so small, it is unlikely to do so often.
A herald cannot be the army general. The only hero level character that can be the general is an exalted daemon which is a darn shame.<_< As for the amount of stuff this is because he is the only defense against magic I have and because I like the lore of Nurgle I feel I will be able to get the most out of him if I allow him to take two spells. (More chance of getting Boboes. )
In that case, I'd say scratch a unit of nurglings or put them together. Swarms are great for holding stuff off. At 1500 you shouldn't have two huge enemy units that need to be held at bay, and 2 bases won't last long anyways. And can't you get your plaguebearers standards? The autobreak fear effect only works if you win combat, +1 all the time can't hurt. (and it sucks when daemons lose combat)
That might be a good idea. It'll deal with war machines well. Also remember to fly round alot at the start with your Daemon, any unit he passes within 4 inches of will need to test.
