Well, heres my IG army list w/o my custom vehicle, and using the new rules, hope you like...

By the way, all units (except my Command HQ & Leman Russes) can deepstrike

Doctrines:
Drop Troops: Infantry can deep strike
Die Hards: Infantry to not count negative morale modifiers for being outnumbered in CC
Iron Discipline: Infantry ignore the -1 morale modifier for being under half strength
Hardened Fighters: WS4 (God i love this one)
Carapace Armour: 4+ Armour Save (this one too)

HQ - 387 pts

the lemun russ (reg) should have heavy bolters imo as it shouldnt be in the back, launching shelles and not up close to use its heavy flamers

plus i guess u like close range firepower eh? not many long range wepons cept for the lemon russ

Okay, first of all, do you really need vet sergeants in your squads? You have vox-casters and a master vox already. Just for an extra attack and bolt pistol I think is kind of a waste, but maybe that's just me.

Check and make sure the vanquisher is legal... it might not be.

Consider that you may not need 2 trademark items in your command sections(s).

I may be wrong, but I believe you have to purchase the carapace armor specifically for your officers.

off topic here, but 'hardened fighters' is such bullsh1t. some crap human who has just fought a few battles can fight with equal skill as a Space Marine? very unflufftastic there...

edit: also, i dont see the heavy flamers/lascannon combo very useful on the Russ. anything u have to be close enough to to use the flamer decently isnt scary enough for it to be hit with a lascannon, the hull mounted heavy bolter would work better imo... hope u can see where im coming from.. h-bolter and h-flamer is more a infantry killer, where the lascannon and vanquisher shells are more ur anti-tank

The Vanquisher is legal, you just have to use the Imperial Armor rules since the Vanquisher was removed from the new Codex.

You've got 32 points left over! Use them!

actually i've got all but 2 of those points used up now, i've added a Missle launcher to the other two squads, gotta love the heavy weps

using the doctines i'm not allowed mortar teams...::sigh:: i could of course take out drop troops for specific games and use mortars...
