It's going to be my first "real" game ever (just did some basic troop-testing before and some 1-2 "learn the game"-scenarios).
Largely this is based on what models I currently have (I am not so fond of using proxies)

So, I am up against orks, specced for close combat (otherwise they would just outrun me and/or shoot me down).
Basic idea is to hold some of the greenskins off with the magic users, use the knights to flank whatever the marauders engage, and use the warriors to just hack at whatever comes their way or what the sorcerers put on the menu for them.

Any advice would be great, also considering deployment as I am most afraid that I will get my units stuck or arriving too late since most of them aren't exactly the fast type.
