[1700] LaTD HoH Fluffy Tournament list

I'm putting together a LaTD list, and I'm trying to make a list that is both competative and fluffy. Any suggestions on improving either of those aspects will be welcome.

One champ with each mutant squad, and 5 summon points for the deamons.

I'm over spending on the champs a bit as I wanted as impressive a model as I can leading each of the mutant squads, each with their own deamons. I think my tank hunting is light and only comming from one angle, but after I put in what I wanted for my list I was short on points for more tank hunting.

I'd consider dropping the flamer daemons and giving the movement upgrade to the daemons running with the juggernaught champ. This way, they all move like cavaly and will get into assault very quickly with less casualties. 12inch assault range, with 2 p.fists will bring the hurt. And it will also provide cover for the next squad of mutants. Plus, the quicker they get there, the quicker you can summon those letters'. Ouch, now that's an assault!

Your only long range anti-tank come from the Obliterators, and Powerfist's, I'am pretty sure you would anihilate infantry armies though.

Well hes got battlecannons too. Those are proven statistically more effective than lascannons if you dont move the tanks.

I have considered the fast moving troops, but the Juggernaunt dosn't give you deamon speed. It gived D. Mut, D str, and D essance. The juggernaunt is the only mount that doesn't affect your speed. I could use the second unit for the speed upgrade, but I would need 200 points or so for the whole squad, or reduce the unit size.

The battle cannons will do well against any tank that doesn't have AV 14, and hopefully the oblits can handle that.

Excuse me. I meant to say give on d. speed. Even if the squad is smaller, it wont be shot at as much, since it will get into combat so easily.

I don't think you'll need all them thralls on the sorcerer. The spell is quite limited in range and he is ultimaterly heading for CC I reccon. It is a good spell but hopefully you won't use it more then twice in a battle. You could use them points on getting Spiky Bits instead.

You are quite strong on the anti-troop shooting even without them flamers, so (eventhough I love them) I think you should let them go. Use the points to get a unit of lascan shooting, infiltrating marines instead. If you also give them Tankhunters they would be just the same cost.
Or get a couple of Sentinels for tankhunting. I can't find my guard codex, but I think you might get two lascan sentinels for the same price.

Other that this it's a good list albeit a bit slow, but with those numbers and battlecannons

Here is a slight update. The flamers were in the list for a couple reasons initialy. One, I like them a lot but they never seem to make the final cut in my CSM lists, two I wanted some deamons for both Champs, and three I already owned them which would make putting this list together a little easier. Now that I've cut them I'm not sure I need to be spending so much on icons in this list, should I remove the icons in the trator squads?
