So here's what it looks like I'll be bringing to the Hall of Heroes Tourney in Calgary, in March. Blast away.

Mind War
Ghosthelm
Runes of Witenssing
Jetbike

Alaitoc Pathfinders {5} (120)

Wave Seprent w/Spirit Stones; Shuirken Cannon, TL-Star Cannon

Eldar Rangers {3} (57)
Eldar Rangers {3} (57)
Eldar Rangers {3} (57)

Guardian Defender Squad {5} 137
Starcannon
Warlock w/Conceal; Witchblade; Shuriken Pistol

Vyper Jetbike (85)
Shuriken Cannon; Bright Lance

Vyper Jetbike (85)
Shuriken Cannon; Bright Lance

Wraithlord (120)
Shuriken Catapults; Bright Lance

Falcon Grav Tank (190)
TL-Shuriken Catapults; Star Cannon; Pulse Laser; Spirit Stone; Holo-Field

Total 1798 points

Basically my Battle line should look something like this:

R______P______R______P______R

V___W____G___A___G____WL___V

The farseer will be riding along with the wave serpent (or maybe supporting the Avatar), hopefully helping it stay alive till it can get closer, and will be placed to charge towards a weak flank, with the Falcon on the opposite, or deployed as needed.

I should note that while Swooping Hawks maybe cheaper than my Scorpion load, I have Howling Banshee's and Striking Scorpions, and a Wave Serpent, and I'd like to use the WS. And I feel that the Scorpions will do better than the Banshees, as I will be facing a lot of Marine armies.

The list looks good. The only problem I think you'll run into is how to deal with horde armies such as orks or tyranids. The only thing I can think of that might help would be to drop the Scorpions out and fill up those points with a rather large squad of Kroot. It might not be real fluffy but it can churn out 40+ shots and it's cheap. It can also serve as a secondary anti-charge unit.

well you can give better weapons to the vypers than bright lances. its been said before but star cannons really are the way to go but personally i find duel shurcannons to have a role (i am in minority though). flamers are much better for wraithlord than shurkats. Personally id have more rangers for fluff purposes and ranger disruption but you have got pathfinders as well so that helps. the guardians really should be rangers though. if you decide to keep them though then they dont need a warlock, its a waste in such a small squad. scorpions would be better infiltrated esp in this army and the exarch doesnt really need crushing blow. with the points you save you could boost the squad to full size which will really help. the farseer has 2 shooting attacks which is a waste. i would swap the mind war for something else. wraithlords and avatar should do well but arnt v fluffy, not that it matters that much. DISCLAIMER much of the stuff iv said is personal choice. other may have different advice. also your list as it is isnt bad, you would do fine using it. hope iv helped.

As I re-read through the Eldar forums again, I'm coming up with some changes. I think I'll be dropping the Jetbike and giving my Farseer Fortune instead, and then placing him in the Wave Serpent with the Scorpions, instead of giving the Infiltration.

I've got 5 rolls on the Disruption table, so I shouldn't hear too much whining there. However, I'm sure I'll here some complaints about the 2 Wraithlords, and that usually comes from our cheesy Space Marine players. They whine if the Space Marines don't have a clear advantage.

I should have another list up in here.

Here's an updated list, dropping the Farseer's bike and placing him in the Wave Serpent with the Striking Scorpions. I may also drop the two Warlocks and put in another Vyper w/ Dual Shuri-Cannons. Another thought is to completely drop the Farseer and put in the Scorpion Phoenix Lord, removing the Scorpions from the Wave Serpent and giving the Exarch Infiltration.

Drop all those Shuriken Cannon upgrades, and the Witchblades on the Warlocks and give them CC-weapons. These weapons do not really fit their mounts... you'll save 108 pts.

The Farseer gives the Banshees a re-roll while the Warlock boosts everyone's WS and INI. The only change I made from the unit was dropping a Banshee to fit in the Warlock, and with my other modifications I had the points to give him Enhance and fill him out. This unit should do me well as long as I keep it protected until it can drop off the death squad.

Unfortunately as the Far-Seer has a body guard he can't join the Banshees, and the Warlock can not join the banshees. I'd drop the Warlock and fill out the Banshees to a nine woman squad. I'd also put a brightlance on the Serpent instead of the star cannon, you need a bit more anti-tank (Alaitoc's main weakness).

Damn, that totally ruins my plan. Guess I'm going to have to re-think that out. I've been debating on the Bright lances for the Wave Serpent, but wasn't sure as with the way I roll I'd probably still miss the re-roll. I had 7 Brightlance shots on a Landraider this weekend. I hit 5 times, and only managed a glancing once. It was pathetic. The Space Wolves walked all over me.
