Alright, so tomorrow is a friendly tournament, few vehicles for sure, I know it for a fact. Space Marines, two tau, eldar, necrons, and me, the Ork. So here's my dilema...

The first match will be Annihilation, but the Second is capturing the others' objectives, and then the last is objective points. All of these are 1v1 btw. So which list would be better aiding me in those last two matches in assuring contesting the objective or helping my boys get it to the objective?

Note: I know none of them have more than one vehicle/walker, so my lootas will light them up.

I'm thinking that Kommandos with Snikrot moving in from any side of table I want would be cool for the second round, but Deffkoptas turboing after hiding for the whole game to contest would help. What's your opinion

The Nobs in the Boyz want PK's and PK's only!! It's DA LAW!!! Trust me on this. The main reason ORks need PK's is because they deal with just about everything efficientley. They deal with Armor, Armour saves, high toughness creatures. They're power weapons that deny saves...'nuff said. So unless your opponent is fielding a no vehicle, no armour saves list, then you NEED PK's!!

I would reccomend making the 30xBoys Shoota Boyz and give them 3x Big Shootas.

Ghazgull seems like a badass, but I always considered him a bit pricey. You could basically get any 2 other regular HQ's for his price and still have points leftover. I've never used him personally...but I would reccomend a Big Mek or Warboss instead. In such a small game you probably would be better off with just 1 HQ and more Boyz!!

So first, I used the list with the Kommandos, and gave Nobs PK's by taking out lobbas. I kept Ghaz, I like his special Waaagh. And I won 2 out of 3 matches...

First match I annihilated Tau who had two railheads, but Snikrot came in the back and ****ed him up.

Second match was capture the other's objective and I destroyed his army on turn four, Marines with a riflemen Dread list.

Third match was a tie because we both held one out of the three objectives. I killed his avatar with Ghaz...and nob w/ PK. He cheated, but I killed him anyway and rolled triple sixes for Ghaz's 5+ Invulnerable save. I won the tournament overall by 1 extra point from "major wins" on the matches I won....


Then we played a list, me and my neighbor who took chaos space marines instead of his normal marines this time. We went 3k (Tau, Necrons, and Eldar) vs. 2k because we thought it'd be cool...and we won. Snikrot didn't die no matter what, Warp Time let me re-roll everything basically, and the necrons phased out. The Avatar was killed by lootas second turn.
