10 Pathfinders ( may be split into 2 squads of 5, if the mission is not a KP one)
Heavy Support-

Fire Prism

Fire Prism

Falcon w/ Bright Lance, Holofields, and Spirit stones

The storm guardians squads will be in 2 serperate lists, should the tournament allow it. The reason being that 85% of armies are super mechanized now...including myself.

I will not alter the Falcon.

I am considering changing the mirror swords for an executioner. Also depends on if I am allowed more than one list.

And maybe splitting the pathfinders into 2 squads, again...if im allowed to have more than 1 list in the tournament.

I understand that taking 3 prisms and another waveserpeant packed full of DA would be more ideal than this, but I just do not want tobuy any more tanks. I am holding off until 'ard boyz. And even then I am hoping I can just borrow some serpeants and DA or something.

Also I know the debate on the FD exarch. But no one can deny that he is very powerful, although sometimes not needed.

I am also aware that I only have 3 troop choices. This is a risky ploy at 2000 pts.

Also with this list I only have to purchase 3 SS and 4 Rangers. yay.

As much as I don't like them perhaps turn one of the prisms to a falcon and use the 5 DAs in it to make it scoring. I don't like falcons much and hate DAVU on general principle but it makes a very durable scoring unit because of holofields. The rest of the points could go to vypers or scorpions.

That is if you want to use the models you have. From your stated preferences the extra DA squad might be the way to go for you.

I agree. Putting my dislike is purchasing more models....what would you do?

I am in favour of the first option (red). I use my vypers like that, but the two shuriken cannons on each vyper with 12" to fire 2 shriken cannons or 6" to shoot all 4 shuriken catapults, with the manouverability of a vyper, you can take down infantary or back of enemy tanks, are quite good in good hands (I am assuming yours:)) And you save a few points to max out a unit.

I'd tend to lead towards the red. This would give you third DA squad for capturing objectives.

But if you don't wanna buy anything new, you can infiltrate the Scorpions near the Pathfinders to protect them, and then take the 3 Vypers as a sqaudron.

Looks pretty good. Be careful with the troops and i'd think you should be fine. Good luck.
