ok so i am going to be playing in a 2200 turny .. i have never been so no clue what should show up .. i am throwing together two lists to test out suggestions are welcome.

First list is a shooting list

tomb prince - chariot , vambraces of the sun ( just cuase i had points left) ( with a unit of chariots )
tomb prince - chariots , spear of antarhak ( with a unite of chariots )

Rare -

bone giant ( just because i have one painted and want to find a place for him if i can .. i know hes bad )

Hi Gwedo.

I kinda like the first list better myself, but there are a few areas that will give you problems in a tournament setting.

Normally I would suggest you take a look at Outbreaks' 2k tournament list and consider using it as a kind of 'template' for your own army (tweaked to suit your own preferances of course). This is a great (and proven) list that has all the bases covered in terms of the units you will need in a tournament. Most (good) tourney lists tend to be variations on this one and it's well worth checking out for ideas even if you decide to go in another direction.

Khalida armies are -just about- doable at 2200pts, but I would double check to make sure you are allowed to field special characters before you turn up on the day or you may be in for some dissappointment.

Do you have any carrion? They're kind of a 'must have' in my book and they're even more important in a Khalida list because it's imperative to march block your opponent long enough for all those archers to do their thing.

The only problem with using Khalida is that she is so expensive. This means you really can't afford all those expensive little luxuries... like ushabti. I would suggest you drop these in favour of two units of chariots because -to be candid- chariots are just plain better (not to mention much cheaper). This will free up your special slots for some scorpions and you will probably have enough points left over to bring your archer blocks up the the minimum recommended size of 20+ too.

Remember that Queen Khalida counts as a king for making chariots core, so no need to skimp on the chariots either.

If you decide to go with the queen then I would check out the other Khalida threads as well because those lists tend to look a bit different from the norm.
