Hello all, I am working on a tyranid list to start preparing for this year's ard boyz so I am looking for some help. My main goals are to find my bad match-ups (Dark Eldar comes to mind) and what I can possibly do to fix that. I know that there is no army with a good match up against everyone but I would like to avoid any absolutely terrible ones. To help you guys get a decent picture of which armies I will be practicing against on a weekly basis:

Razorback Spam w/ Mephiston Blood Angels
Dark Eldar Venom Spam
Grey Knights Purifier/Psy dreads
Grey Knights Draigo Wing
Ork Killa Kan Wall
Chaos Plague marine/Oblit list

Pretty much all corners of the meta minus space wolved/IG. So as you can tell i'm looking for some solid assistance. :D

No one? Ok, well after some thought I figured that one of my main arguments ive found is that Deepstriking trygons isnt that great, but if I swap some things in the list around I have a pretty decent drop play. I present to you list 2.0, please let me know if you like it or not.

I'm not a high end tournament player so my observations may carry no weight what soever. The only unit I'm uncertain of in either list is the Ravener brood. How do you intend to field them? My understanding is that under the bet of circumstances they're not very durable. Are they meant as a fast meat shield for the Trygons? If so they might not add much value in your second list. If they're meant for more than moving targets how would you field them to keep them alive into close combat?

Seems to me with pod-striking 'fexes and 'thropes would it be beneficial to invest in Hive Commander to improve Reserve rolls? That would mean pulling points from somewhere else and the only place I can see doing that is, well, the Raveners.

I assume the Prime is meant to babysit the Hive Guard?
