I'm dusting off my old 6th edition Warriors to reap some new skulls for the Blood God. I'm having them lead by a sorcerer because I like magic, even Khorne does not. How does this list look for 8th.

As it stands right now this guy is illegal, no single character can carry multiples of a single item type(arcane, magic armor, magic weapon, etc). My suggestion would be to keep the puppet, and hook this guy up with a nice ward save via armor of destiny or tali of preservation...additional protection can be an added benefit as well, so you might want to look into charmed shield, It allows your character to avoid the first hit on a roll of a 2+.

Riding a juggernaut and having no protection other than an armor save doesn't bode well for this fella . He's such an important character and a pricey one at that, either drop the juggernaut in favor of a regular barded steed(this way he will get a look out sir roll), or drop the runesword and give him a ward save with a halberd.

Consider banner of eternal flame as well, it can get pretty sticky when you come up against an army with a ton of regen and you have no answer for it.

You can do 1 of 2 things with the marauders...either drop the light armor/shields and give them flails, or combine them into one giant horde unit and give them great weapons and MoK. Such few numbers, a weak base strength and less ranks means that this unit won't last very long at all...at least with flails/great weapons they have a chance to deal tons of damage before they bite it.

Both MoK and Banner of rage give the frenzy special rule...what you can do is drop MoK and give this unit MoN to make them a bit more robust against shooting attacks.

I combined the infantry blocks into larger groups, and changed the mark on the Knights. I also Changed the characters in order to add a bit more impact. Infantry blocks supply a strong center while the knights, chariots, hounds, and Lord can attempt to threaten the flanks. Lord runs with the flank, other characters jump in with the knights. Enough magic to play with.

You have the banner of rage with the Khorne warriors.

You might want to trim the unit of warriors down from 30. 2 units of 12 or a unit of 12 and 18 have more mobility making it harder to tie down the meat of your army.
