Tactics:

Well, with this list Im hoping to infiltrate the plague marines and traitors ahead of the main forces, so they can lay down some heavy fire and maybe take out a few tough opponents or tanks, while the mutants advance to the enemy and summon the flesh hounds for CC support. The Chaos spawn will help lead the mutant advance, with the Russes backing up the horde and taking out any tough opponents.

At least, I hope it'll work out like that....

Hmm lots of Infiltrate.

I think the WB's Daemons give them an advantage. Daemonettes will dance through Traitors. Bloodletters turn DG marines into red mist.

The Russ could be a challenge, but infiltrating melta's might get them eventualy or the Daemonetes talons.

I vote Wordbearers due to the daemonettes and bloodletters being awesome in combination if not very fluffy.

On the other hand the LatD list is also not very fluffy since it has allied Death Guard and Khorne's flesh hounds.

Such considerations aside, this will be a HtH bloodbath for both, negating the ability of the Leman Russes to get in too much firing which might have turned the tide for the LatD list.

The sheer number of Daemonettes should rip through horde armies, and the not-so-Holy Bolter will, in cut through the mutants and traitors.

I vote Word Bearers.

Better balance, better defense, better daemons, better cc ability.

My mission vote goes to the Word Bearers.

The two main threats to them (the Leman Russes) will be neutralized early on with a couple meltagun shots in the side each. I'd be surprised if they lived to see turn three. The Daemonettes will wreak some serious havoc on those Traitor Guardsmen, eliminating some of the AP2 guns on the list. The Death Guard will fall victim to Bloodletters and plasma-wielding Word Bearer Havocs. The Furies will get an early charge once they arrive and tie up or beat whatever they engage. And at least one mutant squad will be eating a metric crapton of Doom Bolts from the Flamers. The Flesh Hounds May take a few down, but a countercharge by a CSM squad (perhaps the one the Dark Apostle is leading) should sort them out fairly quickly. When the dust clears, the Warped Horde should have very few scoring units left.

Not that it's necessary now, but my fluff vote goes to the Word Bearers.

Fielding two squads of Death Guard alongside something they'd undoubtably view with disdain (the mutants) seems very out of character in an undivided force. The Aspiring Champions don't have any Marks whatsoever, which makes me wonder why Marines so far beyond the favor of their gods are leading this force. And how the hell did they get two Leman Russes?

The Word Bearers force is led by a Dark Apostle, as every Word Bearers force should be. We see here a good number of Daemon Packs with good variety, with each dedicated pack equal in numbers to their God's sacred number.

Well. The mutie squads are very... Iffie. They will be hammered by daemons.
The LOTD army has a chance in the lemans, however, which is nigh on impossible for the wordbearers to pop (they have to have the daemon summoning melta gun squads away from the objective).

HOwever. i vote for the WB.

my vote goes to the Wordbearers
