Fluff:
Formerly a servant of Chaos Undivided, Lord Akuma attained daemonhood when he swore allegiance to Slaanesh. Slaanesh rewarded Akuma with a darkblade. The core of Akuma's army followed in his footsteps, but the rest of his servants still trusting their weapons above Akuma's new God. So long as the havocs pave "Prince" Akuma's path, he tolerates their worship of Chaos Undivided.

Tactics:
The whole army exists to get Akuma into close combat, but he does not have to survive to win the battle.

Each undivded unit is tailored for a different enemy.
Missile Launchers: Heavy Armor (AV 12+), Power-armored infantry
Autocannons: Light Armor, Terminators (Statistically more likely to kill these than any other heavy weapon, with 8 Str 6 shots), and 'Nid hordes.
Plasma Guns: Power Armor, Monstrous Creatures
Bike-mounted melta guns: Heavy Armor, dreads

Tthe plasma havocs and the three troop squads deploy close to the enemy, in cover, and let the plasma guns/blastmasters do the initial killing. The bikes turbo-boost, with the melta squad in front, to absorb casualties, while the havocs engage anything that could really hurt the bikes. By turn 2, Akuma should reach close combat and the troops simultaneously charge. The plasma havocs and the melta bikers deal with things Akuma cannot kill, esp. dreads, 'fexes, and heavy armor. With 3 doom sirens and Akuma's 6 str 8 attacks, Akuma's squad faces NO superior threats once in CC. They can take 'stealers and broodlords (yes that is play tested).

The daemonettes have 6 icons to choose from, so they go where trouble is.

-it's a shooting nid list, but the slanesh can basically out-shoot them, with those havoks and blastmasters and their CC bikes and lord can beat the nid CC stealers and tyrant.

The shooting power of slaanesh isn't that strong. It doesn't have the firepower to take out 48 spinegaunts 32 Hormagaunts, 8 genestealers, 2 tyrants, 2 carnifexes, 6 warriors and a zoanthrope. thats 99 bugs that can swamp the EC and then let the big bugs catch up and defeat them in cc

The slaneshi list is a has plently of firepower, 4 auto cannons, and 4 MLs will make big dents in the lines of the bugs, while the plasma gun dudes can set up to take down the big bugs.

Those flamers are gonna also work wounders against the nids, epseically on bikes.

The HQ for the slanesh player, strikes first against the nids, even gene stealers, if he charges, and he gets 8 strenth with his charge. He also get 6 attacks on the charge. So, those big bugs are gonna go splat, as he strikes first, and and wounds on a 2+.

Assuming the HQ is this his brother slaneshi on bike, they strike at the same time as the big nid, they wound on 5+, but the powersword should take off the last wound from the big fella.

Thats, or a bit of the firesupport could do it.

ANyway, Slannesh win.

Never underestimate the strength of a Hive Tyrant. The second one is Winged, and can deal 6 attacks on the charge. That's enough to drop an entire squad, fairly easily :D. It will be best used to take out the Bikes first.

The Tyranid shooting is going to be fruitless, but it doesn't make them worthless. I think over time the Slaanesh would win out in combat with the Gaunts, but by the time that happens, the Carnifexii would be there to back them up :D, even with just 3 attacks.

This 'Nid list is really weak, to be honest. There are no tricks, no cards up the sleeve to play. The Slaanesh have it simply because they are more thoughtfully planned, and have numbers to match the 'Nid horde.

The core of the Nid is just cannon fodder. There is nothing there than can really do any damage. Those hormagaunts will be looking a 6s to hurt the bikes. And the Havocs will, excusing the pun, wreak havoc on the cannon fodder and uppon the MCs.

And in a one on one with the two assault HQs, my money's on the Akuma.

The nids lists I have seen on this forum are pretty bad, to much emphasis on HQ, Warriors and Hormies and weak Carnies, they seem to be trying to be a jack of all trades and master of none types.
This list is no exception it does not have enough CC ability, the Hormies will do prettyr much nothing to the chaos list and they are to small to absorb firepower, 2 units of 16 is not enough to keep the Chaos tied up while the stealers get in range. Again the Stealers; one unit seriously why bother, the havocs will devastate them, well they wont get into CC whatever.
The Chaos lord will rip the Tyrants to shreds and he has the benefit of a bike squad as back up (I assume he will be with the slannesh bike unit) and some Daemonettes.
The Warriors are out gunned and outranged and the bike squads can take them out no problem simply because the Warriors are not CC orientated in any way.
Spine Gaunts will be mowed down by ML and autocannons.
Zoanthrope, one why bother it will be taken down by the infiltrating Chaos marines
The Carnies will fall to either the Havocs and are to slow to make a difference.
Plus the Marines have the mobiltiy and power to take loot counters and hold them the nids just dont have that ability.
Personaly I would take out the winged Tyrant and the games sown up.

Nids perform best when they specialise in either CC or shooting, mixed lists just dont perform well, in fact I would go so far as to say most successful Nid lists dont really bother that much with shooting, CC is where nids excel and this Nid list simply does not cut it in either discipline.

Easy victory to the Chaos Marines

The chaos shooting will clear out a ton of guants. Especially if chaos gets the 1st turn. Even when the remenants get into cc, the marines will hit 1st and kill more (since the guants should be at quite lesser numbers by then). If the havoks specifically target the synapse then its possible to put some strain on the nid list, making them less manuverable. There is jsut not enough rending in this list to adequatley deal with the marines power armour. I think the casualties will be greater on the nid side. Although it will be quite close.

I vote for Chaos.

With my vote that puts it at 6-1 in favor for chaos I believe.
