Please see this thread on how to participate in these games. I want to stress to everyone that the mission means everything. He who stands the best way to score Victory Points should be the winner. All missions have the Infiltration, Deep Strike, and Victory Points special rules.

Night Lords

The DG list is good but the NL list has them seriously outnumbered. Powerfists are what kills the most and both sides have lots. Plus if NL can use thier firepower before charging it will swing it thier way.

The amount of raptors the list has will be a nightmare for the DG to stop, they will tie up units and pick them apart one by one.

If the DG rhinos get destoyed the NL have the mobility edge which will be a deciding factor.

Although the DG have more models than the NL, NL will massacre them in cc. With furious charge the NL will strike first and still wound on 4+. The DG predators are wasted on the NL as they have no tanks and the NL have plenty of tank killing weapons. The NL will be able to automatically grab one or two loot counters by infiltratring and will be able to outmanouver the DG once the rhinos are gone.

-their supierior movement capabilities, and far better CC, will win the mission.

I'm gonna go with the general consensus of night lords. Even with the expensive raptors and bikers, they have better numbers. This and their superior speed and cc ability will win the day.

Pity really, if the Death Guard list had been the one I was antipating (foot-slogging maxed-out Plague Marines with Plasma-heavy Havocs) they would have got my vote. However the DG list is very wrong for countering the NL, and the Rhinos simply come accross as a poor choice. Once those Rhinos are popped, the DG are screwed for matching those Raptors/Bikes.

I think this nightlords list is fantastic, personally ... a little heavy on the HQ, and I would prefer infil on the raptors, but that's just me.

Nightlords win because their mobility suits the mission, and because furious charge gives them first strike.
