Please see this thread on how to participate in these games. I want to stress to everyone that the mission means everything. He who stands the best way to score Victory Points should be the winner. All missions have the Infiltration, Deep Strike, and Victory Points special rules.

Strategy:
VS shooting armies, Deep Strike monoliths when possible, advance warriors under res-orb, when monoliths arrive, teleport warriors close, and doubletap/charge depending.

VS CC armies, keep monoliths on board, fire at charging enemy, when they reach CC, teleport warriors out and rapid fire again.

Tactics:
Use the two footslogging squads as a firebase, hunting tanks and MEQs alike with covering fire. The larger Troops squad goes with the Emperor's Champion in the Land Raider Crusader, and the Marshal goes with the Assault Squad. The Land Speeders provide anti-tank support, and the other two Rhino squads support the Assault Squad and EC squad in close combat - the worse WS of the Neophytes is countered by the EC's vow.

I feel that the BT are going to have real problems with the monoliths. The warrior squads will be hard to kill if they cover each other.

The Black Templar have no way to effectively hurt the Monoliths, meaning the Necrons can port out of cc, reroll their WBB and rapid fire into the black templar

Yeah... the rhinos are screwed. There is no way they're getting past those gauss flayers, and when the liths arrive, they're even more screwed. There's almost no way for them to get a penetrating hit, and the liths can just sit between the BT and the Necrons, and shoot the crap out of them.

-they will shoot the heck out of the BT as they advance, and then teleport out of CC, and double tap again. the BT cannot take down those liths or hurt the warriors except throug CC, where they cannot stay.

Hmmm... The templars can be lead around the board by the heavy shooting. Whats that? The necrons have been assaulted? Teleport away! Then another turn or two of casualties from shooting. This can just be repeated over and over till there are no templars left.
