Please see this thread on how to participate in these games. I want to stress to everyone that the mission means everything. He who stands the best way to score Victory Points should be the winner. All missions have the Infiltration, Deep Strike, and Victory Points special rules.

I vote Dark Angles

The Heavy weapons can quickly down the rhinos, and after that, entangled Death guard rush towards plasma while LSTs and lascannons and missile lauchers can easily down the predators and move on to beating up the DG.

Anything the predators can get in range of will be able to shoot back and kill it, or are close enough to something that can. Since the Dark Angels are intractable, the preds can't kill anything that can't shoot back and blow them up. Everything else in the DA list (aside from the command squad) is more than a match for the rhinos and can blow them up and kill the passengers.

i vote dark angels
-they can pop the rhinos, and destroy the death guard as they march up the field.

The Dark Angels have a ton of plasma, missiles, lascannons and these can all take down the death gaurd. LSTs and Librarian are icing on the cake. Although they DA have less ojective taking units I feel they can quite easily make the death gaurd so that they are no longer scoring units and win that way.

Nurgle:

9 lascannons, behind 14 AV, on a tank that ignores shaken or stunnee results.

thats an average of 7 lacannons strikes a turn, with 6 wounding. Basically 6 devs dead.

So, turn one, smoke launchers are used, (rihnos will die from ACs but only 2) The others will stay alive probably.

Next turn, another 6 devs die. So thats both dev squads basically destoryed.

While the nurgle unloads 3 squads of a nugle and blasts, hopefully the Landspeeders, more likely the troops though.

The deathwing will cut a friggen grip of those nurgle down, probably eliminate a squad, + another half a squad.

Nurlge will assault the drop podding squad, with numbers, and give them a tough fight.

But before they do, the tanks will fire on the Landspeeders, glancing all them of them, and killing 2.

Da wont have much to shoot at, maybe the tanks this turn, not really gonna hurt them, with AV 14 and such.

The tanks then finish off the speeders.

Anyway, nurgle win.

-it's only 6 lascannons, they have auto cannon turrets

-the deathguard list doesn't get to fire untill the third turn, as they have weak rhinos, and short ranged guns.

-the assault cannons and lascannons have no problems with those predators.
