So yeah you can guess the tactics up the gut with Carnifex in front shielding the others while the Biovore takes down the tough units or the tanks kind of worried about the lack of synapse creatures though

Just in case you didnt know, the biovore should be 55 pts (Biovore+Acid mine=55)

For the most part this list isnt too bad, yet I still think you should fit a Lictor and at least one zoanthrope.

The lictor for a sneak attack, and to lock a squad in CC

The Zoanthrope for some killer instakilling and some extra synape. But hey thats just me,
I like Zoanthropes.

What happend to the good old swarm..wait XD u are nice list but try adding a zoanthrope and 2 bio-acid mines that deep strike or 3 frags for 89+pts. and wheres ur hormagaunts?

That house rule with +1A, that seems seriously unbalanced.

Anyways, I'd split the spinegaunts into 4 units of 10 instead, use the extra points to get the warriors a venom cannon and I'd switch the biovore for a zoanthrope with Synapse.
If you get the zoanthrope, you should also give it an additional power, I recommend either warp blast or psychic scream.

I think the carnifex needs some work, it would be a lot more effective if you made it purely for shooting or purely for CC, personally I prefer the gunfex: enhanced senses, barbed strangler and venom cannon.

i was going for the anti space marine attack and well unfortunatly in all my games my zoan thropes have always been hmurdered first foremost and always oh and why a venom cannon its only good for tanks and

Enahnced Senses for the Warriors, a must since they have weapons and basic BS 2

You should easily be able to spare 6 points some where :shifty:

--Good, just add enhanced senses like schmallz suggested. (Don't list point cost for individual biomorphs)

--I would drop most, if not all, of the biomorphs on your spinegaunts as they work best in numbers and are meant more for tying up units. I can get 88 basic spinegaunts for your 40; using 40 normal spinegaunts instead would save you 240pts. Use some of the extra points to get another squad of warriors with ST, RC, EC, AG (WS/I), and leaping or a unit of genestealers with EC.

--This works, but most people prefer the VC/BS combo as it doesn't mix the fexs roles and provides heavy anti tank support. Another option (the one that I prefer especially if you take my advice below) would be to use two twin linked devourers, 8 shots with re-rolls to hit and to wound can dish out some major damage.

Just some suggestions

Yeah for games workshop, no one really used the biovore, so they decided to make it weaker! The Biovore is now just a shelf warmer(for the most part), the new wones look much better i might just by one to display it.

Yeah that is what happened to my biovore, it become more of a display model. Small blast markers in general are not that useful any more as you have to center it on a model. If your opponent spreads his troops out the full two inches only one model can be hit. This also hurt the deathspitter as that high strength is good but not if you only get one shoot and hit only one model.

Now if biovores used the large blast marker then that would give me a reason to use them.

sry about the points listing thing i make the lists at home print them out so my friends and brother can see i am not screwing up on the points i will delete them and biovore shelf warmer

i dont care if its kind of a small blast template against space marines all me friends except one plays them

and that ones dark elder so bench warmer(N) :closedeye
