The only codex I own yet is the Space Marines. I play an Ultramarines army. I don't see a single word in the codex (I may have missed some spots) or in the 40K rules that says whether or not UM can have allies.

Does anyone know? IF so, what armies could they be from? Daemon hunters? IG?

The rules for allying are in only the DH and WH codex.

It with one(or possibly both of these) that you may ally.

You can have a SM list with DH or WH allies or...

a DH or WH list with SM allies.


Both have their strong and weak points.

Do people just not check which forum they're in before they make new threads?

With a Space Marine army you may have DH and/or WH allies. With a DH or WH army you may have WH allies and/or inducted IG *or* SM. You can never have SM and IG in the same army with a single Force Organization Chart.
