yes i know theres enough of them out there to sink a boat but heres mine so far, i finished the legs last night as some who were on the chat heard me say. i did have a template but it was of the mars pattern were as i was wanting to make a lucius pattern, so i ended up making my own templates, which also met some hick-ups when i discovered my titan was going to be 2-3 x bigger than the forge-world ones, this is 37cm from the ground to the top of the pelvis bit and the forge-world ones are only 20cm for the whole thing, anyway here it is so far...

im gonna be doing the torso now and the guns but ill have to do the armor plates seperate because its going to be black with green armor for my salamanders and im not the best aim with a spray can

the whole things made out of scrap and ice-cream containers so does anyone know if ill need to put something on it before spraying? im just afraid of pealing.

what do you guys think?

lmao i was actualy thinking of calling it ice-cream bot because all the box things and the feet are made out of ice-cream containers and if you look closely you can make out the diferent flavours lmao

Do you think the ice-cream box is durable enough to withstand moving this beast around? You may want to look into finding another container of similar size. I'm thinking specifically of plastic storage containers from momma's cupboard. Maybe you can snag one there (she'll never know anyway arty2.

As for the design, it looks fantastic. Good hinges and excellent foot design. I'm anxious to see the next step.

i dont quite know wat you ment bout the ice-cram boxes but wat i ment was the thing is actualy made out of them(as in i chopped them to sheets and hot-glued it together) the box like sections the legs are made of, are just boxes made out of the ice-cream container sides with another piece in the midle as a stabilizer(and to stop warping) but its prety sturdy, i can pick the whole thing up by the middle box and the legs wont bend. i also had to make it as strong as i could because i have a few friends which have made thier own titans and the 1 comment thats been going round alot is that the legs are too week for the body, so i made mine as strong as i could, i can balance my tool box on top of the middle box without it colapsing so it should be pretty good.

as for the body im working on that atm so i should have an update within the next few days.;Y

lol sorry hit a couple more hick-ups :? first i ran out of glue so i had to go downtown and buy some , then i desided to drill some holes in the body so i could put 2 rods through to support the arms and found that hard clear plastic doesnt like drill bits and it cracked the inside of the body, but luckily i had some of the ice-cream container plastic glued to the outside so it didnt do too much damage but some little bits broke on the inside so now it ratles lol

i was just writing this while the glue gun heated up so ill get back to it

its looking a little awkward but that might just be because it has no head yet but I'm still stumped as to how I'm going to connect the guns, I've been using pictures of other titans as a referance but it just not working properly. does anyone have a picture showing the joining between the pelvis and the torso that i would be able to use as a referance because i think i might have got something wrong

please help

well it hasn't changed all that much, i re-did the body because i didn't really like the look + the gun/arm thingy wouldn't fit on.
i've made the head which I'm pretty pleased about (not perfect but it will do) i kinda ran out of ice-cream containers so i had to use this hard clear plastic which wasn't as easy to work with but did the job

the model looks a little shabby in the pics but its actually pretty clean, the glue you see everywhere is under the plastic and the edges are cleaned up a bit

i just need to finish the guns and plating (and stick a billion rivets everywhere) and she'll be good to paint

thanx to the magic of pringle cans the guns are fully interchangeable

they look a lil big in the photos but theyre actualy not that bad , the inferno canon is quite thin so its not as big as it looks and the mega-bolter fits quite nicely on either side

C & C is always welcome so please feel free to make any sugestions
