Ok not really a WH topic but it is to do with the girls so here it is, my game against a Necron player (in which i was defeated for the first time by them) was great, including the part where my 5 GK Terminators Scattered on to his squad whilst deep striking. despite this i had to roll armour saves for one of my sister squads, they were rapid fired by 10 Necrons after teleporting through the Monolith, the total wounds inflicted was a huge 15, i rolled and saved all fifteen!! From 15 die not once was there a 1 or 2 anywhere, that is the best rolling i have ever achieved in the 11 years i've been playing, anyone have similar stories? :)

Umm i play nids mostly, so this has nothing to WH, but i had a unit of stealers charging some Thousand Sons and had 16 attacks. Out of the 16 i rolled 10 6's, which meant they rendered and killed 5 TS instantly !!! I was very happy but my oppoent was not, as you'd expect :yes:

hmmm abit off the topic of WH but....:

3 storm gaurdians with haywire grenades taking down a monolith.

About 9 dice all 4+ saves on my storm troopers, not a single loss

A funny one, rolled a single dice and it landed on its corner (wasn't a warhammer dice, one of those biger dice you get from baord games)

I once had a Celestian Squad, with the blessings of Divine Guidance, rapid fire and take a Demon Lord from full health to dead in one round. :)

In my most recent Sisters/Space Wolves battle I had a squad of Sisters charged by Wolf Scouts creeping onto the table behind them... The Wolf Guard killed 3 outright with a Power Weapon, while the rest of the squad caused 6 "savable" wounds.

I failed 5 out of 6 of my 3+ Saves.

Now THAT'S some rollin'!

I really don't pay too much attention to the dice. If an odd roll shows up, then I tell myself that the rule of the bell curve will compensate, which it always does eventually.

I do recall some great feats, however.
- When a jumping Cannoness smashed 2 Sentinels and 2 Basilisks and lived to the end.
- When some Orks were rolling up my IG squads like a carpet, when one surviving guardsman stood up with his flamer and killed about 10 of them.
- My WH were devouring a Black Templar army down to the last man, who could not fail a roll.
It was decided that he would be the new Emperor's Champion.
- Then there was the time that 2 Arco-Flagellants swept not one, but 2 Necron Squads. Wow.

One of my Dark eldar warrior squads shot 2 splinter cannons (so 8 shots) and 4 splinter rifles(long range, so 4 more shots for a total of 12). I hit with 2. I believe there were 7 ones and 3 twos.

With my WH, one of my luckiest moments was: sister squad gets charged by an 11 strong necron warrior squad, due to some bizare rolling, I survived pretty much intact and won the moral high ground roll, he failed his moral check (ld10) and fled, subsequently rallied, charged the same squad into the same squad, this time along with a full squad of wraiths, reduced the sisters by 6 but they stood, then I charged my serephim in, I won the round of combat, he failed both moral checks (ld10 again) fled and was promptly cut down by a sweeping advance from the siters squad (3rd ed rules)

In the same (carnage) battle the serephim VSS went on to take down a nurgel Chaos lord tooled the gilsl in close combat with a blade of admonishment, I came second due the nurgle DL bodyguard demon prince standing right in the center of the battlefield surround by the reminant of my army as the random game length dice came to effect

I shot a storm bolter from a sister at an eldar skimmer (the name escapes me atm) and I glanced on a 6 and rolled a 6 to destroy. he was pissed, because the seriphim took out everything else and my vindicare tempel assassin took out a tank as well. it was a great game. XD

after that I rapid fired some sisters at some orcs with divine guidance and kille da ton... I rolled like 8 sixes.

A lone seraphine with infernos, against Taus.

She gets fired at by a close hammerhead, railgun and missiles. misses
15 kroots shoot at her-> no armor save failled
They assault and wound like 8 times: still no armor save failed

end of assault, disengage. Next turn, hammerr head blown by infernos pistols :w00t:

I'll always remember this one.

First time my friend ever used his monolith, apparently it was incredible/invulnerable and going to rip me a new one. Fired one lascannon at it (first shot of the game), 6 to hit, 6 to penetrate, 6 for D6 radius explosion, 5 for explosion radius (curses, only a 5!). The explosion killed 3 Pariahs too.

The monolith was on the table for it's first game for about 30 seconds.

They've never seemed to intimidating to me since.
